Recover from what?? Manny hasn't looked the same in years. Even as a fan I knew he would struggle against Floyd he doesn't move his legs like he use to. Even in his prime the fight would still be boring there styles don't mesh well but I think Manny wins a decision. This is actually not far off. He might have won a decision in the past if Tony Weeks was the ref! A great ref. A great ref makes you fight you way off the ropes or out of a corner! That WASNT PAC FIRST LOSS plus he had a torn rotator cuff managed to still win 4 rounds and floyd fought like a coward and hugged and ran then the crowd booed him after he was announced the winner... and now floyd has the public wondering why he was using insane amounts of IV when it was against the rules of USADA

He too minimal physical damage, unless he is mentally weak he should recorr just fine. It's his physical abilities which are in question, he's been through a lot in life so he should be psychologically fine.

Being knocked out is both physically and emotionally damaging. It will change a fighters psyche forever. Losing to a guy who clinched, ducked, and threw a few punches with no steam on them, is frustrating. You'd leave being pissed off that he fought like that. You wouldn't be destroyed psychologically by it. I doubt you'd even be that distraught by it because you wouldn't really feel defeated. Interesting! Remember hearing Marquez constantly telling anyone that he beat PAC all three times they fought? It bothered him that the judges didn't award him the decision. He was bothered to the point of writing a book about it! Ultimately he got his 4th shot and said he needed to win by KO! He was able to Detonate and manny caught some beyond REM sleep! Maybe. But there's only so many times a guy can bounce back. He did extremely well to bounce back from the KO loss to dominate Rios, Bradley and Algeri. I'll be honest, I didn't expect him to. But now he's took the L to Mayweather, a fight that meant so much and had so much history behind it and to it. So much riding on it and losing it in convincing fashion it can mess a guy up mentally.
