Or did Floyd effectively end his career May 2nd? Losing to your hated rival in dominating fashion all while knowing you will never get to avenge the loss must be tough on the psyche.
Recover from what?? Manny hasn't looked the same in years. Even as a fan I knew he would struggle against Floyd he doesn't move his legs like he use to. Even in his prime the fight would still be boring there styles don't mesh well but I think Manny wins a decision.
This is actually not far off. He might have won a decision in the past if Tony Weeks was the ref! A great ref. A great ref makes you fight you way off the ropes or out of a corner!
Break them up immediately bayless limited infighting. Limiting PAC greatly! Maidana had his way with mayweather more than many other boxers! I was laughing at mayweather when he was looking to the ref for 'preferential?' Treatment?
I love boxing, not fighters, and this is something Floyd controlled before the fight! He controlled the time, place, ref selection with manny!
Great preflight tactics for Floyd!
Probably not! People say he's walking the streets in delirium, handing out thousand dollar notes to peasants.
He has always done that! Kindness and dilirum can sometimes be the same thing. But he has always been kind & overly generous. Joe Louis was too!
Has Floyd's veins recovered from his IV ?
I would guess they have!
Live is like a sh1t sandwich, the more bread(cash) you have, the less sh1t you taste!"
Nuff said
It depends on who he fights moving forward. He might get a couple of soft touches but I think Arum knows it's the end of the Manny gravy train so he'll get thrown to the wolves eventually.
That is how I see it too! Use em up, and throw em under the bus! At least put him out to stud!

That WASNT PAC FIRST LOSS plus he had a torn rotator cuff managed to still win 4 rounds and floyd fought like a coward and hugged and ran then the crowd booed him after he was announced the winner...
and now floyd has the public wondering why he was using insane amounts of IV when it was against the rules of USADA

He too minimal physical damage, unless he is mentally weak he should recorr just fine. It's his physical abilities which are in question, he's been through a lot in life so he should be psychologically fine.
Being knocked out is both physically and emotionally damaging. It will change a fighters psyche forever. Losing to a guy who clinched, ducked, and threw a few punches with no steam on them, is frustrating. You'd leave being pissed off that he fought like that. You wouldn't be destroyed psychologically by it. I doubt you'd even be that distraught by it because you wouldn't really feel defeated.
Interesting!
Remember hearing Marquez constantly telling anyone that he beat PAC all three times they fought?
It bothered him that the judges didn't award him the decision.
He was bothered to the point of writing a book about it!
Ultimately he got his 4th shot and said he needed to win by KO! He was able to Detonate and manny caught some beyond REM sleep! Near death experience! His doctor said he shouldn't fight! But he is a warrior and fights for his people!
In a way, Floyd made a comment that there were more manny fans at the fight, and PAC isn't even American.
He said he didn't care, because he has money & loves the haters! If that is true, he is strong!
being brutally outpointed in a 'fight' with the fewest punches thrown in the history of western civilization, im not sure if he can recover from that...
imagine if Floyd actually had the balls to beat his ass in that fight? imagine how proudly you guys can actually brag?
its like saying your football team massacred your rivals after winning 3-0
My buddy, an ex defensive lineman for USC has an ideal score vs Norte Dame,
USC 3. - ND O
A perfect game !

This might have some truth to it. But in your frustration you might have a shoulder injury, and say Floyd ran. He could also say, "I couldn't cut off the ring effectively!"
Maybe.
But there's only so many times a guy can bounce back.
He did extremely well to bounce back from the KO loss to dominate Rios, Bradley and Algeri. I'll be honest, I didn't expect him to.
But now he's took the L to Mayweather, a fight that meant so much and had so much history behind it and to it. So much riding on it and losing it in convincing fashion it can mess a guy up mentally.
We will have to wait and see.
convincing? ha ha ha ha
oh man, wake up!
Burner is feeling lonely already. Floyd has been retired 6 days and he's already making these types of insecure trolling threads.
I heard he's been comfort eating since the Berto fight..:grumpy:
