And as expected none of them are Van Heerden or Bundu. Khan and his desperate herd of minions take another L :lol1:
My guess is it'll be Diego Chaves which will count as Brook's next mandatory.
Also interesting to note that they agreed to rematch Rios in America if he had beaten Brook in the UK. As I also suspected, Bum Bum just didn't want the fight.
Khan has yet to face a welterweight who can actually punch. Chaves was able to catch Thurman in exchanges early in their fight and we know Khan is very vulnerable in exchanges. Khan would have a rough time with Rios too. You'd think he'd be able to outbox them and probably would for long stretches but he buckles under pressure. Chris Algieri was able to walk him down.
I honestly don't know how they're going to protect his chin until next summer.
Algieri is nearly have a foot taller than Chaves and has a longer reach than Thurman and Chaves who are both shorter than Khan. Algieri size and reach is what was key in his success. But you're right in the manner that anyone can get caught.
Could he ****, I watch a lot of Argentine boxing and Chaves with an 8 inch reach disadvantage aint knocking Khan out. Khan via easy decision. Chaves is like a less refined and more crude version of Matthysse.

Khan isn't "spectacular" either. It would have just been a bigger fight. Diego Chaves could well spark Khan out in all honesty.

Meh....I think Brook fighting Alexander and beating him would be way better for his career than beating fighting and beating Chavez...Diego is decent, nothing special.
Alexander just lost every round to Khan. It would just give Khan and his rabid worshippers an excuse to discredit the fight. They're going to do it anyway but better to beat someone Khan hasn't fought.
Algieri would probably be a better opponent than Alexander seeing as many had him beating or at least deserving a draw against Khan.
I've warned you once. I will be forced to put you on ignore if you continue to avoid the subject of the thread. The mods have threatened to ban me if I don't stop victimising you. They've even advised me to change my sig and avy.
How reliable is that source?
Quite reliable.
Nice fight, looking forward to it.
Well, according to some of his biggest fans he isn't "spectacular" and only good for a warm up bout. Ouch.
Chaves isn't spectacular....did I ever claim he was? I said he would be "great to get for a warm-up bout". Please quote me correctly like you did with that self-ownage a few pages back lol

Beat me to it. hmm....
LOL, it's funny how it is slipped under the rug, the fact that Brook struggled against fringe contender like Carson Jones.........in his 27th fight.
Guess what Khan was doing in his 27th outing? Knocking out Judah in a foreign country to unify the titles.
What's also interesting is how they demanded a catch weight 4 weeks before the fight in the rematch with Carson, lmaooo.
Who has tried to sweep anything under the rug? What does this have to do with the thread?
Post about the topic or leave the thread. It's getting boring now plus I've been informed by one of the mods to stop bullying you as they are worried about your recent behaviour.

Brook's diet doe.
Sounds like a fair summary but Rios has those vicious uppercuts on the inside, and the only time I've seen Kell really struggle was versus Carson Jones and on the inside. Carson took some shots and I think Rios would have tried a similar game plan. (AlthoughI'm aware Kell's lifestyle wasn't the greatest leading up the fight.) I will be livid if it's Guerrero, I like watching Brook fight but I want to see him against actual live dogs. Especially as it will be PPV.

Khantard Nation mourning behind smileys lol
He mentioned Guerrero and a few more names around that level, and Chaves was actually outboxing Rios before the referee ****ed it up. However, Chaves I think boxes better than Rios but he's inside game isn't as good and he isn't as durable so I think Rios is a tougher fight for Brook stylistically. Brook can out box Chaves more easily as he will try to box with Kell, also Chaves has a ridiculously short reach.
Chaves was handling Rios on the inside in their fight. Bum Bum got bailed out in that fight.
lol Hearn doesn't give a fuck what you want or any hardcore boxing fan (I hear you tho, and agree).
Hardcore fans should be happier with the Chaves fight. It won't capture the imagination of the casuals which is the problem
