Golovkin is the more skilled imo but Kovalev is a straight killer and genuinely wants to hurt his opponent. His opposition has also been better so I have him higher P4P personally. What do you guys think?
Ring Magazine somehow have GGG #4 and Kovalev #7...
Remember guys this isn't head to head but rather a comparison of resume and achievements.
I actually believe Kovalev hits harder too though.
KOVALEV AND GGG ARE MORE MEXICAN THAN MEXICAN FIGHTERS BRO. THEY'RE THE REAL DEAL BRO. THEY DON'T TALK SHIET THEY BACK IT UP BRO. MEXICAN STYLE BABY.

The only guys who are ever going to make it out of a fight with Kovalev are guys like Hopkins with exceptional defense that keeps them from ever getting hit by a flush shot. Everyone else is going to feel that power and go down early. Boxers with power will need more than just power to get past Kovalev's defenses.
I still think Ward gives Kovalev a hell of a fight, but man, Kovalev just has to land one good shot to change the fight dynamics.
I would agree at this point Kovalev should be higher on the P4P ratings. I think the only guy out there with a real shot at him is Ward, Stevenson obviously has a punchers chance but I get the feeling the Krusher makes pretty quick work of Adonis. The only critique I really have of the guy is he looks a little off balance sometimes and I mean thats really nothing. it could cost him against a big puncher and Stevenson is that.
Yeah his balance is kind of
Strange, he looks a bit long and akward even; not the smoothest mover
Explains some of his slips
But doesnt seem to affect him; mght be a small crack, but good luck if thats it
Munroe is certainly better, If Bhop at near 50 can beat the best of the LHW division it says how weak the division is.
Any version of B-Hop beats Monroe :haha: Who's he beat? Brian Vera lmao

Loooooooooooooooool. Based off what exactly?

Kovalev is much more proven. He beat two solid veterans which is whole lot better than what Golovkin fought so far. However Golovkin is catching up and probably surpass Kovalev on P4P lists in the future.
Ring Magazine somehow have GGG #4 and Kovalev #7:thinking:
RING is all Politics and Bullsh1t I remember when they had Broner and Canelo in the Top 10 before they ever did anything
Kovalev out boxed Hopkins. GGG hasn't fought anyone of that caliber to begin with. Not to mention his stoppage of Jean Pascal who doesn't get much props.
