As you can see, Mayweather is suseptible to overhand rights and lefts that are thrown from the sky. Golovkin, like sloppy ass Maidana, can emulate these punches.
Floyd's been shook by more looping shots than straights. Mosley, Maidana, Judah, Corley - all looping shots or hooks. What have you been watching, really?
GGG's only shot is his jab or else Floyd by decision huh? He'd wreck Floyd with whatever punch of his choosing. They could make a prefight clause where Floyd gets to pick the only punch GGG gets to throw and he'd still take the worst beating of his career. Too much power and style mismatch.
What people don't understand about GGG is that he's an aggressive counterpuncher that likes to come forward, he's NOT an offensive fighter per say, yes he comes forward most of the time but what people don't see is that while he's moving forward, he's keeping his eyes on his opponents shoulders, once he notices the slightest twitch he fires off his shots without even trying to duck or slip or move his head to avoid the punch that's coming at him, he relies on his high gaurd and his chin as a defensive mechanism, his mind is always pre occupied with what his opponent is doing but not what he's supposed to do defensively.
A sharp shooter with good in and out movement and feints can give him a lot of problems cuz then he can't time their shots like he always does, feints would work beautifully against him cuz against a counter puncher, feints are a strong weapon, they wear u down mentally cuz u r waiting for ur opponent to punch, they frustrate u and for a guy like GGG who didn't go past the 8th round in a LOOOONG time, stuff like that is golden. You can't fight in rythm and use the old stick and move strategy against him cuz he's gonna time u, u have to be versatile, sharp, quick and smart.
GGG's best weapon offensively is the jab, if u can take his jab away while showing him quick hands and quick in and out movement, he's gonna have to resort to doing what he doesn't like to do so much which is to rush in and try to fight u on the inside and make it a rough fight, but on the inside he's not all that great an his power is much less cuz he can't load up, if he loads up he's gonna get hit 3 times and the opponent will be out of range already by the time he fires the punch.
This is why I would love to see how he deals with a guy like Erislandy Lara at 160 or Floyd Mayweather at 156-157 lbs, at 154 I don't think he'll be physically strong enough to do much tbh, losing 6 extra lbs is not a joke, he already cuts weight to make 160.
The rematch was a sparring session with several even rounds. Floyd basically edged it by a point. Are you going to pretend he didn't fight anybody for a long stretch after this?
I wouldn't call Castillo faster than GGG in any aspect. They're pretty much on par, save for when Castillo got sluggish from draining to make weight and GGG is clearly the more explosive puncher. Castillo was a bit clumsier and sloppier with his defense as well.
GGG has many weapons to dismantle Floyd. Just a jab? I don't know, those lead hooks and uppercuts might be pretty deadly as well. Here's your bottle back. :bottle:
How many times have u seen Floyd get hit with hooks and uppercuts? if GGG can't get in range he won't be able to land these looping shots that u can see a mile away, The most dangerous punches that landed on Mayweather were straight punches, and GGG loops with a lot of his punches if he's not countering, in order for him to set Floyd up while coming forward he NEEDS to have a jab, good footwork and foot speed moving forward, and he needs to be going in low behind a high guard. The jab is the key, if he can't land it to the body or to the head he'll get neutralized just like the rest of them.
He gave him an immediate rematch and beat him easily:bottle:. Plus Castillo is much faster both with his hands and feet than GGG, something u definitley need if u wanna cut off Floyd Mayweather, what GGG has that can be a problem is the jab, if he can't land the jab he can't win the fight.

It should be easy work for GGG, he is a middleweight no debate here.
OK but most of these flo mos say easy work for Floyd yet throw a hissy fit when fight suggested
GGG fights a whole lot more like Castillo than he does Corrales. He fights nothing like Corrales. Castillo did enough to beat Floyd. GGG has the style to beat Floyd on it's own, then factor in the power and there's little possibility of Floyd seeing 12 vs GGG.
Let's also not pretend that Floyd didn't go a long stretch after the Castillo scare without fighting good competition.

I would say when Floyd fought diego corralles, who had similar hype that GGG had, that was exactly the type of fighter you are saying hes never fought. Another thing, GGG is not an A level fighter by any means, i say this not because i dont respect him, its just he himself is largely unproven in theprofessional ranks. Diego pretty much was destroying 130 and nobody on this forum can possibly question his knockout power.
Chico had the height and power advantage and was also the favorite (god forbid that was the last time floyd wasnt the favorite) I genuinely thought floyd would lose that fight.
I know most people here were 10 years old (like jas for instance) when that fight happened, but Chico had HUGE hype having something like a 28 fight knockout streak against decent opposition and was #5 p4p.
So this idea that floyd "DUCKS PRIME FIGHTERS" is nonsense. The fact is, GGG is a middleweight, so its nuts were even talking about this. To be honest, there was talk way back when that floyd was ducking carlos baldomir, i **** you not, when he fought judah, he was ducking baldomir, then he fought baldomir then it was ducking margarito. You guys just cant be pleased.

Only way floyd can win would be throwing 3-4 punch combos all night and moving. Problem is ,he cant hurt GGG with anything.
GGG cuts the ring off with the best of them. He has a great jab and left hook to the body and good overhand rt. He is stronger ,more powerful . Pot shots wont work . He will tire out . GGG has nothing to fear. It will look like floyd is running not boxing .
Floyd Mayweather regularly gets out to run 7-mile runs, often on a whim; if your hope rests in Floyd getting tired, something that has never happened since Floyd's been fighting on the world title level, it's already a foregone conclusion.
There's nothing that Golovkin does that's markedly beyond what Maidana and Canelo have shown able to do, and Floyd's been able to rout both guys. Golovkin is unlikely to come with the "**** it, I'm making this a dogfight" attitude that Maidana brought to the first fight and Floyd's been known to spar with middleweights and super middleweights, so the absolute size isn't going to have the impact that you think.
You add that Golovkin seemingly has no inside fight game, and how is he actually supposed to win?
Beyond all that, Floyd doesn't need to "hurt" Golovkin; all he needs to do is hit Golovkin hard enough that he's forced to reset.
Up-jab, jab to the pit of the stomach, check hook, and the pull right hand (riskiest shot on the list, as sticking with it would force Floyd to fire from within range); pretty straightforward path to an 8-4, 9-3 decision.
LOL at Floyd haters saying they'd give Floyd full credit for fighting GGG, that's what you all said before he took the Canelo fight. And before that the Hatton, Mosely, Madaina 2, and Pacquiao fights.
If Floyd takes the GGG fight and beats him, they'll be saying he needs to fight Ward or Froch. It never ends. Mayweather is a small welter weight who has been able to fight a few times above WW limit. At this point people aren't looking for anyone better than him that can beat him, they're just looking for fighters so much bigger than him that he will lose.
Outside of Manny, it's been a while sin d Floyd fought an A level fighter himself. And he looked very subpar in that fight.
But honestly Floyd never fought a fighter like GGG. Skill level about even but GGG has the power and offense advantage while Floyd has the speed and defense advantage.
Reach advantage to Floyd but GGG has a true size advantage not one of those made up Showtime graphics ones.
Not true, Floyd beat an A level legend 9-3 maybe 8-4 the worst, u can't just walk through a guy like Manny Pacquiao, the man is a legend, even a 6-5-1 kind of win against a guy like this is pretty good.
Maybe Floyd hasn't fought too many A level fighters recently but almost all his recent opponents where champions at the peak of their careers and they were motivated cuz they were fighting the biggest fight of their lives, GGG fought only 1 former champ in his recent fights which was Daniel Geale, who on his best day is a B- level fighter, and he didn't fight GGG on his best day, he had already lost the title to some unkown guy called Darren Barker and 2 fights later he was fighting GGG.
How can u even claim that the skill level is even? what skills did GGG show u? The man got hit by power punches by all his opponents, he got a good jab, knows how to cut off the ring and has tremendous power, apart from that everything else is about average and he doesn't throw punches in bunches fast, imo I think GGG now is not better that the Oscar Dela Hoya that Floyd faced, difference is only the punching power, GGG is slow compared to any welterweight but has decent speed at middleweight. Floyd on the other hand is better than GGG in all departments except for size, physical strength, power and ability to cut off the ring, everything else is in Floyd's favor even at that age.

He's "ducking" a fighter two weight classes above him.
I can't stand such idiotic statements from casual fans.
As Jas pointed out, Floyd is #1 at SWW, been holding a belt for 3+ years. Ggg is offering to handicap himself and meet the Champ at his weight. Whats the problem? Other than you getting banned and having to use an alt?
Fraud won't fight him
Instead he's holding the 154 belts hostage
And ducking ggg

still salty? lol.
Replied to the wrong guy. Guessing this was meant for that terminally salty flo mo. Im just having fun with his sorry self, its all good man
did i piss you off?
mission accomplished u clueless ret@rd.................
Let me know when you can count to 4 sadsack. Jk, that was teeth in cheek lol
As flo mos have been saying for years, dropping one lb is harder than going up a whole division. Which means GGG dropping 6lbs to destroy SWW lineal champ beats all of Floyds moving up. BTW Floyd didn't move up 6 times, he moved up 4x. I know math is hard for a flo mo, but at that scale you could use your fingers to do the counting, dumbfcuk

do u see how much turd nation that sounds. here you have a guy thats well into his 30's. claim to be great (in his 30's) but rather then move up (as mayweather has done 6 times) he's looking to fight in a division under his weeight potentially draining himself to the bone. the only thing that i said if you're that pathetic & stupid you deserve to be drained.
and there shouldn't be any excuses if you look slower sluggish can't catch up to your opponent.

We're taking 154, which is fine, vs some sub 154 catchweight/rehydration clause, which is unacceptable, a$$wipe. 154 is handicap enough for GGG, but Floyd will need every bit of it to make it the distance, despite his stellar creds at 154. Werent you gonna find another sport to follow since boxing is making you so unhappy these days?

Middleweight calling out a ww needs to be drained for being a fvcking idiot. I have no sympathy for anyone trying to move down instead of up...
Why not it's just as dangerous.
