Wasnt Brook's best buddy, stable mate and chief sparring partner just banned for PED's ? Whether Porter was using them or not he looked himself against Brook, Brook just negated it with the clinching. Last I checked clinching was illegal in boxing along with PED's. Personally I don't believe he was using any substances, I could understand if he had won and was being questioned but he lost, what's the point of this thread, to undermine Brook's win ? I remember there was something weird about the drug testing for this fight. But the only person he has to blame is his own manager. That's why he's with memo now, if ya can't beat em, join em. Paulie has still yet to ever do random blood testing though, so I don't know why he acts like the face of anti-peds. It's a joke.

People forget now but there's a couple of things that lead me to believe he was fishy: 1) We've never seen that power from Porter before or since 2) They openly said they didn't want drug testing vs Brook. Then when it was demanded by Brook, they said THEY were the ones who wanted it. But it couldn't be USADA. It had to be VADA (or the other way around, it ended up being UCLA). 3) They weren't tested until right before the fight (according to Brook and that's why it was done by UCLA) 4) His weight and size changes Malignaggi got caught pulling back with his head up high and his hands low, this is a flaw in Malignaggi's game that has been long standing. If there is one thing that Porter does well it is spring forward with great speed. The great power of Porter here was simply Malignaggi being caught so clean with his head up high without anticipating it. Porter probably is doping but jesus christ Malignaggi has been a pro for a long time, he knows the score.

So I guess according to Paulie's logic nobody has ever beat him fairly that isn't named Cotto.

Pauli talking out of his ass again. Porter had zero respect for Pauli's power, he walked through him and was catching him was HUGE swinging shots, it's not like he took him out with one shot. Pretty much what I was going to say. Paulie uses range and tries to do enough to get the opponent's respect. If the opponent, in this case Porter, has no respect for what had that night, Porter ends up doing what he did. Plain and simple. Porter fights that way and in Paulie's case, it was a no brainer.

Name pro athlete = PED's. That's what I think. If you make a new type of lock, someone will find out how to pick it. If you make a substance banned, someone will either find a way to hide it or invent a new one. Caught means jack. Paulie can be paranoid and bitter about it if he happens to be one of the "clean" ones but it won't help and probably everyone who beat his a** been on something too.

Malignaggi is a weakling compared to Devon, Brook and Broner.

Porter is a roider, So is Brook But i believe Porter and Brook were clean when they fought each other, because there was proper testing, thus both men didnt look so good. Brook didnt look like a beast and nor did Porter

Brook is at least as suspicious as Porter. Both looked underwhelming against limited opposition, then Porter manhandles Alexander easily before looking human again versus a guy who had to rematch a journeyman for a decisive win not so long ago... Not to mention Brook's stablemate who's got caught for juicing...

I believe he was, Brook made him do vigorous testing for good reason. I've watched many Porter fights and he's never hit as hard as the Malignaggi fight. He's always had a strong punch but not concussive.
