Broner vs Porter thoughts?

Broner easy, I don't like the guy but he's been underrated lately. Also, Porter looked like **** vs a career 140lber in Bone who had 24 hours notice. I think that fight showed how good Bone was more than how **** Porter looked. Bone showed skill, he would've given anyone trouble.

Fight is only a few weeks away. Solid match up tough fight to call. Speed- Advantage Broner Power- Advantage Porter Chin- Advantage Porter Stamina- Advantage Porter Heart- Advantage Porter Athleticism- Tie Level of Opposition- Advantage Broner Possible fight X-Factors: Broner out clubbing when he should be training Will porter feel strong sucking down to a catchweight? If porter can maintain a high work rate (which is broners kryptonite) then I think he can pull out the W, but if porter gets tentative from broners hard counter shots the fight turns in favor of broner. I think it'll be a close fight and for some reason just a gut feeling I think broner is going to get a controversial decision. Speed I'd give to Porter (especially speed of foot) Power is close, but Porter just about.. Broner hits hard Chin even Stamina Porter (if not drained) Heart even (Broner showed a lot with Maidana) Opposition even (both only fought like 2 good fighters so far) It's an interesting fight but I think Porter's footspeed and ability to raid in and out gives him the edge. He can only do that because of his strength advantage too.

Tell that to Malignaggi. He is not in his prime but nobody gave him that kind of whooping ever... Maidana has more power than Porter but imo Porter has definitely got that power which will bother Broner. Oh and his sheer physical power is also no joke. Malignaggi was over the hill How many TKO's did Porter score before that, look at the gap between the TKO's. He is no Maidana as far as power Anyways i suspect Porter was on peds, soon as proper drug testing was in place, he didnt look so strong

I did see a bit of Porter vs his last opponent and he looked like sht. I don't know because I don't watch enough of either to make an accurate prediction but I feel it may end up a close fight on the cards, maybe a SD winner.

I think Porter will win. Broner has fought at 147 before and by trying to drain Porter he shows a lack of confidence and heart. Porter is just as fast as Broner and throws more punches and hits harder than Broner. I think Porter wins a close but clear ud.

Porter beat the hell out of Alexander and he almost killed that same Malignaggi inside four round who gave Broner all he could handle just less than a year before the Porter fight. So if someone is overrated that's Broner. Okay, it died down after Maidna whooped him but sometimes still... This. I'll never understand how folks always sleep on the Alexander win for Porter.

The main concern I think we all have is the rehydration/catchweight clause for Porter. If it were at 147 outright than Id heavily favor Porter, I still favor Porter but with the weight you just never know. Catchweight aside, Broner needs to box & in no way do I mean the way he fought the 1 armed bandido Molina. Broner needs to box like he did mid fight against Maidana (stand his ground & couter off the roll) but I dont think Broner is disciplined enough to fight a fight all 12rds that way. I give Broner props because hes a come forward fighter that brings it but hes best served as a laidback aggressive counter puncher sorta like Marquez. Funny Broner said he doesnt have any favorite Mexican fighters because he could sure learn alot from them ie. Morales & Marquez lol the only difference is he rolls his shoulder.

I'll be rooting for Broner but I'd be very surprised if he beats Porter. I think it's a bad style match up, he better hope Porter is drained and squeak out a decision. Honestly, I don't really think either guy is elite but I think this is a great match up.

Even with the catchweight id still favor Porter.Im more concerned with the rehydration clause. Yes. That's what bothers me. I wonder what Broner will hydrate to :thinking:
