How come "The best ever" has to pay a B-class fighter to change his gloves to fight?

Floyd """TBE""" Mayweather didn't allow Maidana use his perfectly legal Everlast MX puncher gloves. He PAID Maidana to use the powerlock version of the gloves, which transfer less power. Yet, many of the boxers under TMT Promotions use the Everlast MX gloves. Yet, none of the Maidana's previous oponents said a thing about the gloves, which are gloves that many punchers use. Just a regular pair of punchers gloves. Khan, Broner, Ortiz, all of them... had no problem with Maidana using a puncher gloves. But "the best ever"... whines about it and threatens with cancelling the fight, if Maidana don't use other kind of gloves. Not only once, but TWICE. Maidana had no option but to accept, otherwise the fight was going to be cancelled (admitted by his manager). Please explain that to me...

Cuz Maidana first tried to pull some funny sh1t with unpadded gloves and Floyd smelled something fishy. Gotta remember Dela Hoya chose the gloves for Floyd when they fought and they weren't using the same gloves, at least Mayweather and Maidana were using the same gloves, which is kinda fair. At least he didn't drag Maidana down to 145 or have a rehydration clause for the fight, he cauggt Maidana trying to cheat and he punished him for it. And he didn't pay Maidana u imbecile, where the hell did u get that from?

How come the "Fighter of the Decade" had to force catchweights? When you are the A-side you dictate. This is nothing new in boxing. Give it up already you pu$$ies Floyd is the best of this era. Accept it and you will sleep better at night. I don't make excuses for catchweights either... Don't think Pac should have made Cotto do one, and I don't think Cotto should make Geale do one. just because the shady underhanded crap that has infused boxing has become the norm, doesn't mean you should accept it on a moral level.

I did think that was a ***** move. People just believe May's word like gospel that the glove wasn't right, but the commission disagrees. Their reaction? believe mayweather anyway because it was on that reality show must make it true! *****..... move but then again, he tried to mess with pac about his gloves, cup, and goatee at the last second too. I don't like that underhanded crap, don't really think people should be making excuses for it.

TBE is just a marketing toy. The man is selling a lot of hats and shirts. Plus it's a new way to get the haters to buy his fights. Even the haters got tired of him flinging money at the camera. As far as the real TBE there is no such thing. Boxing has been around for too man years, and there have been too many great champions to say 1 TBE.

Mayweather has much more power than he should have and he likes things his way and usually gets things his way. He got Canelo to defend his title at 152 instead of the proper 154. He got his own personal referee in the Pacquiao fight and got to hold Pacquiao and illegally hold and hit Pacquiao to his heart's content. He always fights in Vegas and brings in vast sums of money to Las Vegas so he gets very special treatment in Vegas.

First of he is not "the best ever" hell he wasnt even the best of his era till just recently. Second, he does it cause he can. No one forced these people to bow down to the terms although I understand why, get paid the same amount to wear different gloves as you are getting paid for to fight, kinda a no brainer.
