Trout said he hopes to be back, with a target date of August 1. ESPN is putting in their 2nd PBC card that date. No opponent named yet. Trout is ranked top 6 by all four major bodies. Julian Williams has been name dropping him recently, so that would be a good scrap. But he fights June 13 on Showtime. Would he be ready 6 weeks after a fight? Jermell Charlo just beat Vanes M. This would be another good match up. Vanes could be an option for Trout also. As could Ishe Smith.
