There's nothing on Matthysse for this fight in terms of press material. He's in NY now, supposedly doing an open gym day, but there's no pics or vids. Anyone seen anything? No idea how he's looking really.
He did some interviews today which will proabbaly on Yourube soon. He looks taller than Ruslan but the looked similar in size. Should be a good fight, we've seen little of him so that could be to his advantage.

without much confidence im thinking it's a close fight early, maybe provodnikovs rounds, perhaps a kd in there of matthysse, but slowly matthysse pulls away
might be a close fight on the cards, i'd really have to study these guys to get more confidence, but can't really be arsed
one thing, matthysse would be well advised to throw the left hook to the body to slow provodnikov down, i can see provo hurt from that, and a right cross at some point
I think its pretty obvious Matthysse is the better fighter, but head to head it's really not easy to pick.
Matty getting dropped twice by Molina was extremely concerning. I know Molina can crack but lets be real, it was ****ing John Molina Jr.
Provo is gonna come like a train and if he drops Matty, he aint gonna let him off the hook.
Matthysse is faster and a much smarter, better boxer and I agree he will win. Provo has a very good chin and never quits so he might go the full distance in this thrilling fight.
Triangle theory? Nice... Now compare Matthysse-Garcia-Peterson, haha.
He fought them both, it's hardly the triangle
Theory bollocks. He's experienced both their strengths and therefore can make an educated prediction.

mmm... nope.
Boxing Triangle theory says that because A beat B and B beat C, then A beats C as some kind of law, which of course isnt always true.
In this case we have a guy that fought both boxers, and is just saying that, in his experience, one is clearly better and stronger than the other. That's all there is to it. None the less, it's a person that went into the ring with both of them so his opinion has a bit more interest for some of us.

True. Styles make fights. If that wasn't true then there would be no interest in Mayweather - Pacquiao after Mayweather beat Marquez in a shutout while Pacquiao has struggled and lost against Marquez. Yet some feel Pacquiao has a legit chance against Mayweather.
