Whats the beef between Abel Sanchez and Kovalev

Kovalev probably thought it made no sense for him and GGG to kill each other in sparring and that's why he left. Which I believe was smart on his part because those 2 sparring regularly would not be good for their careers or health.

Kovalev was trained by him for a bit then left for Jackson I believe. I know Abel as stated several times that GGG is a much better fighter than Kovalev or something along those lines I think he left him after the Simakov fight. Not sure if there is any relation.

Sanchez likes to run his mouth to much, he doesn't show the respect kovalev deserves.

Fisher was also on site in 2011 when GGG sparred with Canelo and owned his ass. He wrote a great article about it on the RING website and that was long before anyone knew who GGG even was.He fought Proska back in 2012,so obviously their has to be some hyperbole at play here.

Abels a bum, Ive been saying since day one he just loves to talk and he aint even that good a trainer.

Abel is just mad Sergei got himself a new trainer. Probably hurt his feelings.:sad: I don't blame Kovalev. He went to a much better trainer and a team. He now works with JDJ and Don Turner.

Alot of bitterness just for switching trainers, if that's the only reason.
