What do we think of this guy? Just made his professional debut and won by KO then gave this "controversial" interview which has attracted a lot of attention online. Well worth a watch.
Is he the next Naseem Hamed or the next Usman Ahmed.....?
Personally I hope this Prince Patel guy is good - I found the interview hilarious. He's clearly got charisma - a bit hit n miss at times with the jokes but I'd much rather watch a young fighter with a bit of swagger. At least he's trying to make a name for himself. His interview has already got over 20k views which is impressive for a guy making his debut and not backed by a huge promoter. He could end up being money.
Fighters in the UK tend to be dull as fuk - "Well I'll joost give it me best shot and hope for the best" types. And that's often why they fail at top level because they don't believe they belong there in the first place.
Fuk all that humble sh1t, you need to believe you're the best to truly succeed - that's why I never understand why Mayweather gets so much sh1t for saying he's better than Ali or Robinson.
I much prefer arrogance and c0ckiness. Hopefully he can back it up but having never seen him fight, I wouldn't know. There's some interesting matches at Flyweight on the domestic scene with the likes of Paul Butler and Kal Yafai so hopefully he can get into the mix.
He could of course end up being a complete flop :lol1:
Good luck!
You'll appreciate boxing in a new way once you start sparring. :boxing:
lol, no doubt I've always considered boxing the toughest sport of them all (even though I've never stepped foot in a boxing gym), it's probably miles harder than it looks and I appreciate that :boxing:
I've been meaning to go to a boxing gym with my bro, we were supposed to go Friday but looks like Tuesday will be good.
Good luck!

Look here is the thing. Beating a man (if you've ever been in that situation) in a fight takes your confidence sky high, you feel like you can do anything. Plus it is in our DNA as men. This kid is a National Champion at it, so you are bound to feel that way. May be you should try boxing and I don't mean that as a dig, but you'd understand. In fact I don't mind Broner for his antics, but it's his resume.

lmfao why u so sensitive.
It's no different than Nathan Cleverly before he was facing Krusher Kovalev, he tried to act tough, like he didn't give a f, but he knew what was coming.

from what i am reading he seems like a loose cannon unable to control his temper, and has been dq'd in the past
or it cud be simply his style wasnt made for the amateurs
i will be keeping an eye on him
i enjoy characters in the sport, but at the end of the day if u cant back it up in the ring, ur not worth anything
1:35, we're not gonna disclose what gym, because I don't want hundreds, maybe thousands looking for autographs and stuff
is he really a boxer cuz this interview comes across something out of the comedy series the office
either he is a comedic genius or a a nutter

:lol1: cheeky little cunt, dudes hilarious
I thought it was a great interview. A boxer has to generate buzz and create emotion for fans to be interested especially when their on the come up, even if that emotion is hatred. I'm assuming being a Indian without the benifit of an established promoter the deck stacked against him as far as marketability sonhe has to do it himself. Obviously after 1 fight you can't tell either way how good he is but that interview generated enough interest for me that I'll watch him fight if he continues to win and becomes known.
Kugan was great as usual. He's like slow your roll kid it's 1 fight. I interview HOF, elite best of the best in this country. You haven't done **** I don't need to know you . but he didn't let his pride ruin the interview he just continued to let the guy go off.
Prime example why IFL is one of the best boxing channels. It created interest in a unheard of 1-0 domestic fighter with no proven pedigree.
I think we found one of those people below....
Sure thing Mr contentious.
Not sure why I should act like I enjoy watching a guy who has the vocabulary of someone who didn't even attend secondary school. He's had one fight and he seems to think he's gods gift :lol1:
Patel and Booth both made me LOL, patel more.
Booth seemed serious but still fuking funny, what he said about Naz too, hahaha, funny.
Patel is a funny dude, id like to go a club with his, his an approacher, approach any b!tch in the club, and i love indian girls too, some of them are freaking sexy.
I hope patel does well, and continues talking, funny **** man,
most haters hate cause they are jelly of confidence. a bit of contraversey is good for viewing numbers.
Ill facebook him, and follow him, its like comedy, i like comedy :)

So much cringe in one post it's unreal.
Why? Because you don't get any?
He talks like any young guy would to his mates. Same with Broner - I think Broner is great too. I guess I can relate being a young stud as well.
So much cringe in one post
On topic, the guy licks his lips like it's an OCD or something, says the word handsome far too many times a minute and seems a bit too arrogant.
I face palmed when he had to admit he got beaten by the guy 5x in the amateurs..

Come put me out ya gym muthafuka!
Woah, the plot thickens. Just found out that Waleed Din and Prince Patel have actually got some sort of beef. Patel got Disqualified in his first fight against Din and then he lost to Din again after that.
Here's the interview, the beef is at 11:30:
Boxing beefs, you gotta love em.
lmfao future froch vs groves in the making.
