Mayweather should take responsibility for the consequences of his decisions. He decided year after year after year to duck Pacquiao. He only chose to finally fight Manny once he was forced into a corner by the public and his network. Now he fights Pacquiao years too late and in the process has forced people to universally come to the conclusion that he wanted to wait until Pac was well past his prime before finally fighting him. As a result of this cowardice-based long term strategy, he will never be given credit in the unlikely event that he beats a past his prime Pacquiao. Not even a decisive victory over Pacquiao will help. This is as it should be, and Floyd should accept full responsibility of this unfortunate further tarnish on his understandably weak legacy.

Some of the stuff I've been reading has made me wonder. But so many said he was afraid to fight that he would never take the fight etc. But now I'm wondering that even if he wins the fight in a decisive way, will he be given credit? Boss, it's 2015. They will get the credit they deserve. The winner beat a shell of the former fighter. That's fair.

When it comes to Floyd some cats have an excuse for every damn thing he has done or will do in the future. I have a hard time seeing a lot of respect coming from that set. It should be respected either way, as it would be the stand out win for either guy.

Mayweather never wanted this fight he's pissed off because Moonves, fans and media pushed him into a corner and forced him to fight Pac, his greatest fear he wanted to rematch Cotto and get that mw paper belt instead. but he couldn't get away with the ducking this time so he's pissed at the fans, that's the reason there's been little to no promotion, the reason the fans are being shunned from this fight, wont be able to see it live and are banned even from the press conference. I love Maidana, but if he couldnt beat Maidana decisively he's not doing it against Pac.
