...when getting hit.
You'd think that Berto would stop doing it after getting his ass beat so much. Broner doesn't do it as much anymore. Hopefully Manny puts an end to it all.

berto: "you cant hit me"
guerrero: "what the fcuk?" lol
secondly, was guerrero on something that night? bc he was never looked that good again
I don't know what you're watching but Mayweather doesn't shake his head when he gets hit lol he does it when fighters throw flurries and miss and the crowd goes wild. When he gets tagged he usually smiles and acknowledges it.
Which is the opposite of Broner, who pretends he didn't get hit when he shakes his head and says "you can't hit me."

:lol1:
Broner's against Maidana was legendary
Yeah, I find it hilarious how Broner even kept doing that AFTER getting knocked down. I was like "Yeah right! You ain't fooling nobody!".
Mayweather doesn't even do it much. What I find annoying is how Broner and Berto land a right hand and then throw their right hand in the air, that's a vulnerability that disgusts me.
Edit: Best described as admiring your work, that I don't like.
Gamboa and Cotto (Not much) have been guilty of that.
Of the three, Floyd was the fist to employ that tactic, to discourage his opponents.
If your opponent believes that he just hit you with his best shot, and you're nodding no or nodding like "that's all you got", then that ultimately plays into your psyche. That stated, if you're getting smashed while nodding "no" then you end up looking silly and stupid as you're picking yourself up off the canvas.
Tyson, used to smile when he got hit with a good shot then he proceeded to unleash unholy hell.:lol1:
This is completely different from what the aforementioned do.
The nod is a more...."lets go to war"
I seen a video where 50 said when Floyd takes a good shot then shakes his head he's letting his corner know he isn't hurt, now why everyone else does it I'm not sure
Broners the funniest when it comes to doing this, because you could hear him say "you cant hit me" as he shakes his head, and gets hit with the next shot.

It's just a stupid thing certain fighters do when they get tagged. I much prefer acknowledgement with a nod than head shaking crap. It does annoy me also.
Right. It just started bothering me now because I'm watching the Berto PBC fight on DVR and it was so annoying that the commentating crew had to talk about it.
