I see a thread about Floyd vs southpaws and I would like to see some stats on Pacquiao vs boxers. Anyone here that could compile a list of stats?
The only boxers I can think Pac fought were Algieri, Clottey(maybe) and Bradley. Morales boxed Pacquiao sort of in their first fight but he also threw a **** ton of punches and was boxing aggressively, does this fight or any of the Morales vs Pacquiao fights matter when considering Pacquiao's form against boxers? count?
Manny lands on everyone... Southpaws, righties, movers, counterpunchers, brawlers, bangers, maulers, slicksters,
Win or lose there has never been a fight where manny doesn't land a lot on his opponent..
May 2nd will be no different,, win or lose
And it wont matter , the only guys Manny really hurt were weight drained and he has not hurt another smaller guy since but thats just coincidence . Floyd will be the strongest skilled guy Manny has ever seen , I believe Floyd will stop him .
No point really, Mayweather has the best lead right hand, counter left hook, inside game, defense and distance control than anyone Pacquiao has ever faced.
Floyd has no inside game. he's a run / potshot fighter, he only throws a punch when he's sure he wont take something in exchange. he also retreats into a shell when's he's being pressured too much by a puncher. his balls are too small to do something else
No offence, but I have an even BETTER idea!!! And it will take less than 9 weeks to accomplish. How about we see if Pac solves the best of boxers or does not. All the data collection is fun for shts and giggles but lets see who executes their game plan and who is at their best the night of May 2nd.
In your video, why don't you show Floyd's fights from the past few years...
You aren't going to see the floyd that fought corrales, chavez, manfredy, gatti
Ariza and Memo are working on the potion.

I'll make one soonish :fing02:
It's difficult to include some of his recent fights and keep it under 6 MB.

Pretty much agree with this as well.

Pretty much. All those stats wont mean sh*t come fight night. Floyd is the biggest challenge Manny will face in his career so who cares what he did vs other fighters.
Ill be rooting for him but I think Floyd will pull it off.
Fancy term for running away. Dude wanted nothing to do with a fight and pleaded for his corner to stop it.
Check out Pac vs Ledwaba and Sasakul if you're looking for him vs slick/moving boxers.Sasakul was actually whipping Manny's ass from pillar to post in that fight until he got caught from Manny's rocket of a left. But then again, that version of Manny was extremely raw.

I think the stats for the JMM fights, the Bradley fights, Morale 1 would be interesting to see
JMM was effective counterpunching and keeping his lead foot on the outside, nullifying Pac's foot speed
Bradley is physically strong and also has good head movement and pivots to offset Manny's foot speed and angles
Morales use his length, jab,his right hand and timely body shots to win...Also he backed Manny up(this is the way I see Mayweather approaching the fight but from a more defensive manner)
Most of the elite fighters that Manny fought were better offensively than defensively...Mosley and ODLH were to far gone to gauge how well he'd do with boxer punchers or defensively responsible guys...even when OLDSLEY used lateral movement, Pacquaio struggled to land and cut of the ring
Pac beat Mosley 120-107 bro.
