How do you think this fight would go? TBH, I imagine Walters winning within 10 rounds. Rigo has been hurt and knocked down by lesser fighters and Walters got superior skills and power to the ones who did it.
They are only one division apart but Walters is so much bigger. Walters looks like he can max out at 140 while Rigo can only go as high as 130.
If Rigo is as skilled as some fans claim, he should be able to handle it, right? ;) I would love to see this fight. The sad thing is, Walters wouldn't receive much credit for the win, people will just say "Rigo was never that good!"
Walters might be too big
If this fight happens Rigo would fight like he fought Donaire in the middle rounds. He'd move a lot, frustate Walters and pot shot as long as he can.
He surely wouldn't allow Walters to set his feet.
It'd be a bit like Floyd vs Canelo , only difference is that Rigo could go down if caught.
If it was to go to distance, I'd favor Rigo, but if Walters hurts Rigo, he could finish him.
Rigo outboxes Walters without much trouble
Please keep any kind of trolling out of this thread. If you, for some weird reason, believe that Rigo could win, okay, but it certainly wouldn't be easy. It would probably be by some controversial split decision after Rigo had been down several times. But I can't imagine Rigo winning this.
pss stop crying, make the fight happen.
Nobody is calling for this fight...You would have to get Vitali in there to even the odds huh :lol1: that extreme to make it competitive ? Thats so sad too bad all the "fighters" in his division pissing in their pants because they have 0 chance.
so not ready for a slick, smooth stylish fighter like Rigo.
As I stated in another post, guys like Rigo, & Loma are in a different class.
Let Walters build his brand, defend his title, gain experience, so in the future he can fight those two!
:boxing::boxing:
I actually think Walters has a better chance of beating Rigo than Loma. More rangey and powerful.
That would look even more ridiculous than Gamboa vs Crawford. He is not only taller than Donaire but a lot bigger and probably destined for a division higher than FW . Rigo is a bantamweight bulked up for super. Dude is 5'3 rehydrates to 126 ffs.

Walters has a better shot against Rigo than he does Loma simply due to the huge size advantage and Rigo's weak chin. Walters is probably just too big for him, and he's not a total slouch in the skills department like some people seem to believe. He has enough skill plus a huge size advantage that would be too much to ask of Rigo, I think.
I don't hate Rigo, he's cool, but I would really like to see him take this fight. Even if he lose, he can then claim to have fought the best opponents available.
