Oh, GGG, all day.
It's because he gives the sense that he is much more vulnerable than Wlad, and thus more likely to produce fights with competitive two-way action - which is really what we want as boxing fans.
Wlad is just too efficient, too powerful, and too good these days. His old performances up until the third Sam Peter fight were very exciting, though. He would slug it out, and go toe to toe, line for line, blow for blow. He just wasn't as efficient as he is now, i.e, didn't know how to fully take advantage of his strengths (outside fighting), and weaknesses (inside fighting - solved with clinching).
I'm a huge Wlad fan too, but I admit he doesn't produce the most exciting fights, especially for the casual fan, these days. But I still enjoy watching him for his deadly efficiency, one-punch power, and intelligence.http://gifatron.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/christian-bale-is-confused.gif
ggg has looked more super human than wlad by far, and a better boxer.
> Who is the more exciting fighter: Gennady Golovkin or Wladimir Klitschko?
Talk about being desperate to start a thread.Who is gonna say Klit? SMH x2.
Hahah. ASeriously, not even trying to flame, but the reason Brook got machete'd is because he tried to make a gay move on the guy.
Thnk about it - he's out with his fiance/girlfried/wife, whatever.. And they are with some other couples, eventually everybody goes home, but Brook stays out al one with the guy at the bar, then goes back to the guy's place by himself?
The guy was probaby just flattered a pro boxer wanted his company, adn thought it'd be cool to talk boxing with him... Next thing he knows, Brook is "clinching" him, and guy grabs machete, and hacks him...
Something wasn't right about that scenario - and that's the only explanation that makes sense.
Seems more likely to have something to do with drugs.
Depends what you are looking for, entirely different weight classes too so a bit like apples and oranges. I'm a fan of both fighters.
i agree. are you looking for entertainment or to vomit?
that kell brook sig is very romantic with all the beach scenery and slow motion smiling and soft dancing and lack of violence
right on, the community deserved better than orlando cruz

:bottle:
I like to watch GGG more because he walks his face into more punches and that's what boxing is about-trying to walk into punches while you're punching so that you can tire the other dude's fists out and then he'll be vulnerable to your telegraphed orthodox right hook.

I don't think he's ever been in a situation where he has to do that. He'll have to get put on queer street by some one like Froch or Kessler. No one at 160 now has devastating power either, even by MW standards. GGG is the only puncher there. Stevens didn't catch him enough but he did visibly catch his attention a couple of times. I'm not sold on Stevens power in those ESPN KO's. They don't really mean anything at the top level, just look at Edison Miranda and Allan Green. Big ESPN knock out artists but at the top level the KO power is gone.
Well, neither is Wlad, but he does it anyway. GGG uses movement and punches to get out range and slips punches. Wlad's first point of defence is the clinch.
Stevens caught GGG flush on the chin, and it looked like he enjoyed it.
Well, GGG is a middleweight so that point is kind of redundant. Also, it's not like Wlad is fighting punchers at heavyweight. The last puncher he fought, Povetkin, ended up being the most disgusting display ever by a heavyweight champion.
Are you dissing Wladimir for holding a lot?
*looks at your sig*
Oh, the irony.
:lol1:
It's funny. isn't?
:lol1: How many Kell Brook fights have you watched? 1 I assume. Otherwise, find me another fight where he clinched.
Wlad literally clinches/leans in the first second of the fight.

All of Brook's clinches in his entire career including the Porter fight, equates to about 2 rounds of an average Wlad fight.
Has GGG ever clinched? Once?
