When is the last time a boxer of Devon's talent has been outboxed every single round?
Excellent boxers like Malignaggi, Kotelnik, and Alexander have all be shut out by Khan. It is rare for any boxer to have such mastery over great boxers.
Can anyone at 147 outbox Khan? I don't think so. He is starting to look like a welter Andre Ward.
IMO, no one can outbox Khan. No one has come close to doing it. If he stays smart, Khan is incredible.
He looks quite sturdy at 147. And, he has to have a decent chin, if he took those shots in the 10th versus Maidana. But anyone can get koed with a clean shot. Does Pac have one of the worst chins for getting put to sleep when JMM never put anyone else to sleep? How about Maidana admitting that Jesisto Lopez almost knocked him out but made a mistake in backing off?
Khan got talked into a loss against Garcia. I really don't think the Garcia loss was down to merely a weak chin, it was just Khan being insanely overly aggressive and eventually paying the price. I don't think he has a great chin, but I think it is not bad either. His chin could let him down in the future, but I think if he doesn't stay in the pocket too long, he shouldn't get hit cleanly anyway.
Its insane how Hunter was just repeating one thing over and over and over until the final bell, ' Stay focused Amir!' Khan also looks strong in there. I really noticed it, when he outwrestled Collazo for arm space to hit him with a body shot that put him down. That body shot against Collazo looked wicked.
If khan had a solid chin like morales or Oscar, he would be the p4p #1 fighter in the world..
His speed, skill, and activity make it nearly impossible to outpoint him
Yea, hes airways had flaws and even though they are greatly diminished, they are still there. He was never destined to be a top p4p fighter because he is just not good enough.

:D
Nearly but not impossible Khan was a faster Ferrari then probably even than now but a master defensive counter puncher can negate that great jab he has and time the speed, his skills can be negated without having to put him to sleep unfortunately he does have that narcolepsy problem, If not id give him an edge on everyone he faced.

lol, danny garcia boxed him and timed him. go watch it again. he was counterting everything khan threw, and beat him up to the body as well. khan is the same exact fighter.
is not impossible but it really hard, khan has long range, fast hands and feet also decent foot work. but i think the like of cotto, mayweather or pac will easily outbox him.
Lamont self confessed he was on PEDs and he didn't win if you consider the changed socre card. If you take out the changed score card, by a non judge, Khan won that fight. Anyway only an idiot would consider a corrupt fight as proof of anything.
Khan still beat a very game Diaz, who many people think beat Porter, and this was after Khan lost to Garcia, so his performance was understandable. He is now back to his imperious boxing best.
Interesting to see no one mentioned a single name at welter that could outbox Khan. I agree with you guys, I don't think there is a single person at welter who could out box Khan.
So many pundits had it 50/50 with Alexander, and Khan won every single round. Easily the greatest boxing display of the year. Period.
Still had Khan winning against Peterson even with the deducted points/reffing etc.
I give Khan props for beating Devon .... But these Khantard's make every Khan win, no matter how irrelevant, out to be the biggest of his career. Devon is not an A-level fighter, yet if you read the retards on this forum, Khan just beat the hell out of Godzilla.
Khan beat a good opponent ...... That is all !!!!!:pat:
You are a sad character. :bottle:
Of course you can, just have the fight in Washington, get a refs that can deduct a point or two from him for pushing and yeah be on some PED that you forgot to mention to the testing organisation.
Couldn't have said it better.
lol at making excuses for scraping by diaz. the same diaz thurman knocked out and schooled by porter in the rematch.. and 50/50? look at the master thread 70% picked khan to win
What happened in the first fight?
You have to hurt Khan to beat him, of course thats not exactly hard but its a fair bit harder than it used to be.
He still leaves himself open but its more once or twice a round compares to 4 or 5 times a round.
easy to says hell get KOed but hes actually only been stopped twice in 33 fights. Once you rely on a KO to win your struggling.
From what I saw last night he would be very difficult to outbox but not impossible. Mayweather and Pacquiao are both very fast and highly skilled boxers and they might outbox Khan. I would favor today's Khan to outbox the rest of the welterweights.
Khan is not a ghetto American loud mouth. Stop trying, he will never have the fan following nor acceptance in the states for that reason. Stop downplaying what he just did, he one every single round against a very very good top welter weight. He has my vote on performance of the year.
"lalmont" did not do it, he flat out lost and got a gift of home cooking laced with t-pellets
Khan hasn't been outboxed since he was 17 against Kindelan, one of the great amateurs.
And then Khan beat him a month after or something in a rematch before he turned pro.
