Thank God Crawford's tenure at 135 is over. That division needs to be deleted. Still somewhat disgusted at the undercard scoring. American scoring is the worst in the sport.

Crawford is a very special fighter and I think he he will train even harder at 140 becuase he will understand that the comp will be more dangerous there.

Beltran touched him at times and at times fell short. That's because of Crawford's tendency to back up with his chin in the air, a faster guy with a solid straight can cause problems. Since he's very technical I think he can improve on that if he gradually faces tougher competition. Yeah, I think he'll need to tighten up that defense once at 140 against men his own size. I think there's already signs his chin may be a liability, especially at 140-147 against big hitters. Still, he's proven to be a multi-dimensional fighter and his career will be interesting to follow.

It's not even competitive, Crawford has to fix certain things before he takes on that kind of opponent and with gradually facing tougher opposition he'll see it. Right now, Pacquiao's straight left will get to him early. he's still learning. Needs a couple fights at 140. Honestly not many will give Pacquiao trouble but Crawford has the ability to be competitive. Clearly Beltran is not Pacquiao but just going by the eye test.

i dont know but crawford could've probably put beltran away much earlier but he was content w/ just jabbing with few hard punches here and there most of the rounds.

Pac also has defensive flaws. . . I think it would be hell of a scrap, they'd both come to fight, would be a war til the end. Pac would win it, but realistically if it's probably gonna be out of Crawford or Garcia, and out of the 2, I'd rather see Crawford. . . Garcia would result to spoiling tactics and make the fight boring.

Crawford at 140 will be interesting

Can't wait to see how Crawford performs at 140. Soto/Lundy as his first fight and then he faces Ruslan/Algeri/Vargas.

Crawford needs to go to 140. He's a big lightweight. And more money fights start coming around at 140. I see him going to 140. And knowing Arum, he'll match Crawford with Pacquiao maybe in 2016. Which would be fine, if Crawford takes 2 fights at 140 and impresses or dominates top contenders and titlists.

Good Performance from Crawford If he's moving up, why not fight Algeiri for his WBO 140 belt Algieri was stripped for taking the Pacquiao fight.

Crawford showed he was on another level. Not the most exciting fight but the only chance Beltran had was if Crawford forgot his boxing and made it exciting.

Who is at 140 on HBO side anyway? Jessie Vargas, Mike Alvarado, Ruslan Provodnikov, Viktor Postol, Mauricio Herrera, Chris Algieri, Khabib... Paccquiao I guess there are some names for him.

That would be too high risk/low reward for Pacman. Not worth his time. Mayweather or Garcia only viable opponents. Way too high risk low reward. He'd be passing the torch if he lost. And anyone that says its a bad fight has NO IDEA about boxing. TC is a very live underdog in the fight.
