When was the last fight Mayweather was at a significant disadvantage?

Hatton size? wtf are you smoking? Crack? Hatton had 5 odd pounds of fat and water on Floyd and was significantly shorter and had a significantly smaller reach. Maidana had a power advantage but he was the smaller man, he wasn't really 165 on fight night they weighed him with clothes and shoes on, he was like 152 according to Ariza. Hatton was 160 lbs in the ring with Collazo so there's a good chance he was around that in the Floyd fight. :lol1: @ Maidana being the smaller man and he must have some extremely heavy clothes on if they weighed 13 lbs :lol1:

Mayweather generally won't fight anyone with a longer reach than him. I think De La Hoya is last guy to have a reach advantage.

Well, he's at a power and size disadvantage in just about every fight. Speed, probably Judah had faster hands than him. He is never in a stylistic disadvantage though, or timing, accuracy, boxing ability, which is what negates the power and size disadvantage he's always in.

It really depends on if you're talking about a physical disadvantage where he was the shorter or smaller (weight wise) fighter or a talent disadvantage where he was outmatched in some attribute like handspeed, punching power, or defense (lol).

Moving on to the next Hate filled thread... **on another note: How miserable is a persons life where no matter what, they find time to hate on Floyd Mayweather daily? Take time out to log into boxingscene, take time to look for topics, take time to go through hundreds of comments, and then proceed to write hatred and dislike for the man? Or spend several man hours in a Green Karma thread, ONLY to red k someone that likes and says something positive about Floyd. (only to turn around a say "you are a bad poster because you have red k") If I don't like someone, I usually forget they even exist(I really do). Was at a power & weight disadvantage against Maidana. Was at a power, strength, & weight disadvantage against Canelo. Was at a power, strength, & weight disadvantage against Cotto. The list really does go on, but Mayweather's advantages supersede those of his foes. true but power, strength & weight actualy play into mayweathers favor bc of his reflexes, speed nd agility lol

Power and size-mosely, canelo, Ortiz, cotto, oscar All those guys were bigger and stronger than Floyd and all fought at a weight they were comfortable at except canelo

I'm trying think to myself when was the last guy he fought where he was at a disadvantage whether is be speed, power, etc. Anybody? he is usually at a size and power disadvantage since he moved to 147lbs which is a long time ago by now. nobody has been faster than him imo.

He's an undersized welter weight. Most of the time he gives up age, size, and power. But that's not enough because most people want him fighting middle weights.

he's generally in the ring with people that outweigh him by at least 15 pounds - Canelo and Maidana being the two most recent.

Usually in there with a bigger, physically stronger or superior puncher, if that counts. Since I'm on NSB I'm guessing that doesn't count though.

Power and size Maidana...outweighed him by 15 pounds and had 80% ko ratio Canelo size and power....15 pounds and a 70% ko ratio he often gives up size and power

He is not been the most powerful guy in most of his last fights. But skills, and speed obviously mean more.
