well ya everyone weighs in that way on fight night nothing thats gonna put more then a pound on him tho thats including gloves shoes, baggy clothes, cellphones, plus whatever else you could have in your pockets, that's more than a pound.

i think the SHO crew should have clarified it. it's disingenuous to keep harping on about a fighter's weight advantage when fight night weights aren't even regulated. No it's not. It would be different if the weight was very close to the actual Welterweight limit. But the weight BLOWS past the limit by miles! :lol1:

I really like Thurman, but Maidana is my guy. Always will be win or lose.. However, I would love for nothing more then to see Maidana beat the **** out of Thurman, to shut the Thurman fan boys up who for some reason think he is some great boxer now because he outboxed Karass and an unknown from Argentina. Thurman is widely unproven. Struggled mightily with the unknown guy and got rocked early from Karass and took to long to get him out.

Wouldn't have a problem with that, Thurman need that exposure but it all depends on who Mayweather is fighting That fight would still the night based on their STYLES and the way they fight, would be a GREAT MATCH UP! Winner of that match should get Mayweather May 2015 though of course if he wins his fight that night

This fight can stand on its own and should be viewed on a non PPV card and would make a decent rating. Fvck PPVs. Fans should discourage them. Subscribers are getting screwed.

Mayweather beat Cotto far eaiser than he did Maidana. What's gonna change in a rematch at 160? Nothing. Mayweather skills will always trump whatever Cotto brings.
