An even more prolonged beating.
His only real moment was a punch after the bell, it was a pathetic shot and had an effect for 2-3 minutes but Maidana hurt him again as soon as he recovered.
My post came up before I had finished. If the fight was for 15 rounds then Maidana would paced himself for 15 rounds and still won just as clearly and easily and he might have won by KO. Maidana is the better man in a 10 rounder, a 15 rounder or a 25 rounder.
False. Broner only threw 400 punches compared to Maidana's 950 punches. Maidana is the one with more stamina and better suited for a 15 round fight. I thought Maidana won the 12 and finished stronger than Broner. If you think Broner was fresher in the last round that still doesn't mean Maidana wouldn't be stronger in the 13th round. The fight went in ebbs and flows with Maidana being stronger in most rounds but Broner seemed fresher in a few rounds. Overall Maidana proved to be a much stronger, better fighter. Some Broner fans seem quite desperate to find a happy ending for Broner. Some say Maidana took an illegal magic pill just before the start of the 12th. Now you say Broner would have won if i
if it's a 15 rounder, broner will be speaking spanish fluently by the 13th round and by the 14th round he will completely not recall speaking ebonics.
Then by that logic Chavez Jr would have beaten Martinez.
And Broner didn't even show anything close to what Chavez did in the 12th round.
If there were 20 more seconds in the clock of a basketball game, maybe the other team would have won.
This type of logic is useless and invalid.
These "if it were 15 rounds" threads are redundant...
We will never know, or even begin to know, as fighters prepared much differently for 15 round fights...the gameplan isn't likely to be the same
Exactly this^^^^^.
after that illegal punch that buzzed maidana at the end of round 11, possibly.
chino was gassed the fck out.
broner didnt have a gameplan, chino and garcia did. they thought they can just counter the hell out of the rushing maidana. but broner does not know how to adapt, he did on round 5 but it wasnt enough.
like floyd said before, boxing is like chess.

Agreed and it's not like either would be competent 15 round fighters anyway.
False, and impossible to talk about in any real way. They didn't train or prepare for 15 rounds, you can't just add three rounds and say, "this is what would happen."
