Floyd admitted he cherry picks his fights. Floyd admitted his health comes first. Floyd admitted he is a coward. Floyd admitted he doesn't care what his fans might think because they don't pay his bills. Above all were either recorded on video or his quotes from interviews but then some of his stupid fans don't believe it. Half these guys are just casual fans. Heard the same **** about roy jones. He made everyone look regular. Then they said he didn't fight anyone. Same **** diff day. The rest are still managed and controlled by their promoters, then approved/disapproved by tv networks. I can't see Broner, for example, pick his own fights at this point of his career. There's also Garcia, Matthysse, Guerrero, Ortiz, even Donaire, Rios, Alvarado, etc. are still at the mercy of their promoters. It's not easy if you're not Floyd.

Is there a notable heavyweight from the 60s and 70s that Ali didn't fight? Maybe there is, but I can't think of one. People can make a case of him ducking a Forman rematch granted he knocked him out but what does that matter by the logic of most champions take on all comers right? I wasn't alive then but from what I've read looking around Ali opted for the Wepner fight over the Forman rematch. Because Oscar Delahoya isn't around anymore, he was like Sugar Ray Leonard in fame so a win over him got you stardom and PPV status.
