Boxing make up will be different in 3 years top, Mayweather will be out, Marquez will be out, Hopkins will be out, Pacquaio will be out.
How will this effect boxing ratings? I dont see enough break out stars to carry on the torch, Good in a few ways as I think not every fight will be a PPV fight of the top fighter like how it is today.
IDK what do ya'll have to say on this subject?
A lot of the new guys suck and Im not sold on them. You get guys like Khan and they are promised to be the next ATG but they fall up short. Its not like it hasnt happened before we had that with guys like Vargas and Michael Grant.
Broner and Mares seem to be the younger guys with the most skill. Canelo needs a lot of work but hes atleast better than the likes of Chavez Sr.
Ortiz, Khan, Miadana, Chavez, all those guys are B level and I dont think they will get any better theyve already gotten their asses beat.
There is probably some up and comer I havent heard of that will be the next ATG.
Things arent all bad. We had a decent little run with competition at 168 where in the past there wasnt **** in that division. So it comes and goes.

I don't like these new guys. I will really miss the Pac's, Floyds, Cotto etc. etc. The Klitschko's departure will hit Boxing the hardest though. I don't even want to think about the crap level the HW devision will be in after they're gone.
Losing Floyd will be huge now ever since he's come back in 2009. He's been controversial, and people BUY to see him LOSE.
Canelo is defintely the superstar in the making. Has all the marketability to carry boxing next after Floyd and Manny are gone. Other than that, not really much...Maybe Adrien Broner but these 2 guys definetly need that "De La Hoya" kind of fight to bring them into mainstream like how it did for Floyd & Manny
