Me neither. Chad will have a tough time making 168, I think. But like I said, I'd pick Ward to win at 175 as well.
Right, I'd pick Ward to win at 175 too. Chad has said that he could do it (make 168) no problem, but time will tell.
can we please stop calling him S.O.G it's really gay
Uhhhhh....that's his moniker. What's gay about it?
Not sure why Dawson even mentioned going down to 168.

im going to go with the undefeated one who still has his "0" intact
dawson by no means is a bad fighter, its just that i cant see him beating S.O.G
ward by UD
lol...i've seen, who andre ward, has been fighting up this this point...chad dawson is none of those cats...this will be andre ward's toughest test, even if chad dawson, drains down to 168...
Lol this quickly turned into a Ward-Dawson fight...
If Pascal doesn't fight Cloud I'd rather see that rematch...I think Chad has a better chance of beating Pascal than Ward...
I think Ward will smother Chad and never let him get off...and I don't think Chad is mentally equipped enough to make adjustments during the fight...
Well, Judah is Judah. One of those guys who starts looking for a way out quite early on in a fight when he realises he's in some difficulty. I'd put him in the category of someone like Cintron. Just severely lacking in mental toughness. You know he's gonna pull a stunt at some point.
I wouldn't say Dawson is that bad. But ever since the first Johnson fight, he hasn't looked the same. The run of geriatric LHWs hasn't helped. He fights within himself. And honestly, Ward is an animal, both physically and mentally.
Re Kirkland - I actually think he's very mentally tough. His downfall is his chin and lack of overall skills.
Yeah I also question Dawson's mental strength, and in the ring he will sometimes just zone out. Another weakness that Hopkins exposed is his left hand. Dawson does not have a good left hand, he's like Miguel Cotto, their lead punch is their best punch (Dawson being a right-handed southpaw).
Hopkins neutralized Dawson's jab by forcing Dawson to use his left hand more. Hopkins was open to the left-cross the whole night, and Dawson rarely threw the left-cross for some reason. It's not to say Dawson doesn't have a good left-cross because he's shown in the past he does, it really depends on the trainer. It's something he needs to work on with Scully.
If Dawson is going to beat Ward, he has to be 100% mentally focused and mentally determined.
