From Heavy D aka Dan Rafeal
"However, HBO can't disclose numbers without consent from the promoter, Golden Boy. And Golden Boy won't disclose the numbers without the approval of Mayweather. From what I understand -- and this is something I thought about not long after the numbers began to take much longer than usual -- the reason for the delay is because Mayweather is finalizing a settlement with the IRS over his tax bill and wants Golden Boy to hold off. Once the tax deal is complete, only then will we hear numbers that will give Mayweather another massive (and taxable) windfall."
The universally acknowledged worst poster by us gay floydiots whom he humiliates daily is right above your post.
fixed for the purpose of accuracy.:fing02:
Aww is baby dong mad I'm ruining his fun? :bottle:
Junior dong says PPV numbers don't matter to boxing fans, meanwhile he has the most posts in Mayweather PPV threads.
Reading never was your(or floyd's) strong point.
Exactly. Soon as websites compiled the real numbers and it was clear Floyd was ahead-and by a significant amount-these types of posters changed it up.
Go look at the threads in the Thunderdome for worst posters and **** posters-those are the same ones that always loved to talk about PPV numbers before the facts settled the argument.
Good grief you care more about PPV revenue than the actual sport!
Err, in case you hadnt noticed I rather like ripping the piss out of you floydiots, hence the posts. You're definitely salty though and you said there were no...you know, floms and yet here you are bumping old threads because you're furious that the overwhelming perception of floyd is that he's a coward. Aww bless!:lol1:

Look at you who "doesn't care" about PPV numbers being damn near half the posts in the Mayweather-Guerrero thread

Sounds like something Dan heard from somewhere else... who heard that from somewhere else... and everyone pretty much accepts that as gold apparently.
Dan probably read it in FightHype LOL.
I read Dan's article. I don't always trust Dan but this seems like a plausible reason. If you read the NY times article on his business model then this reason makes sense too. Seems silly to me. Floyd should just llet them release the numbers TR should release the real manny/mosley numbers and be done with it.
I am pretty sure the only one not happy would be Floyd, he always likes to be getting bigger checks and with his hefty guarantee his upside check is likely to be pretty small at least in comparison to his past upside checks. I could see him and by extension his team being real upset.
I am sure HBO and GBP are straight on the numbers, although maybe not I am sure they wanted it to be the biggest show of the year clearly and it probably wasn't. I don't think they would be really sad about that but disappointed and I don't think there was much they could have done differently.
....until mayweather settles irs problems.....
looks to me like a bucket shot of too many big holes....
won't hold water for long............
How do you know he would and how do you know he didn't already?
Floyd could barge into your home, announce who he is, and shoot your mother in the face. You'll respond with: "well how do we know for certain it was Floyd? How do we know it wasnt a govt clone in an attempt to frame him?"
The extent that you go to in order to defend Floyd is quite pathetic!
I'm not sure I'm buying. Whatever the numbers were, they aren't happy.
