4get the gloves if this one happens lol...jus let em headbutt it out....sneakiest butter wins...i got Hop then...mainly cause he sneaky in all the other not so legit moves lol
Anyways, I'd probably pick Hopkins to take a UD. He's much fresher as a fighter than Evander, and has better legs and stamina at this stage. He'd be giving up some size but he's tough to hit and Holy isn't too sharp anymore and can't jump on openings like he used to, so I think he'd handle Holyfield's power.
The main reason I think B-Hop takes it is the fact Holy doesn't have the speed, legs or stamina anymore to chase down and consistently attack Hopkins. B-Hop is able to catch him enough and stay out of trouble enough to take a UD.
That's assuming Hopkins can come in around 190 for this fight (Roy did it didn't he?) Because that is around his ring weight so he wouldn't have to pack on any extra size. If he had to come in over 200, he might not have the mobility and stamina to handle Evander, who, while shot, is still a strong guy who has mixed it with 230+lb men.
Evander has his legs too, the difference is that Evander has fresh legs at 200lbs+. Hopkins is not a fresh fighter AT ALL. I swear Hopkins nuthuggers seriously overrate the guy.
The Toney stoppage loss was pure exhaustion combined with a shoulder injury, he was getting hit clean but he wasn't badly hurt.
I agree its from exhaustion. but if Fat Toney can beat Evander dont you think Hopkins has the same chance? Hopkins is bigger than Toney its just that Toney has so much fat that he needs to compete at heavyweight.
hopkins would lack the power to hurt holyfield could possibly outbox him but a beleive it would be holyfield ud12
190lbs Hopkins hits harder than FAT James Toney.
