Leave the poor guy alone. Let him have his comeback fight but in one condition: his opponent should be at least 43 years old also. Why not have another heavyweight classics by doing a rematch between Tyson and Hollyfield. I would pay 5 grand per ticket for that match !
hopefully sanity will prevail and no athletic commission will sanction a bout with Tyson............then again the NSAC gave Holyfield a license.........
man just think he can comeback just to get in shape and collect 1 more pay check for his weight loss efforts.
The dudes right, if youre a real fan of Mike's than you wouldnt want to see him come back... Against anyone credible... I wouldnt mind if he fought journeymen, club fighters, inexperienced new fighters, on Friday Night Fights and shit... He should come back and fight every few months against guys who wont be able to handle him and have a few guys thatll test him, just to boost his record up... He should fight about 12 fights, and then if he really feels like he's ready to compete with the greats again after a few years, let him get a title shot if he deserves it...
I want to see the old Mike Tyson, just once more...

Hopes of what?Seeing the guy come back and get pummeled by a can he would have had no problems with in his day?
If you are truly a fan of Mike's you wouldn't wanna see him comeback.

Isit that time of the year already?
I wonder if we''ll get a Tyson comeback rumor every year for another 10.
He's not coming back, get real people.

screw the money, it's not worth the embarrassment. Theres nothing worse than seeing a fighters that's been used up and has no fight left in him get in the ring just to get beat up, especially a legend like Tyson. Its hard to watch that shit when you see what kind of fighter he was in his prime.
I think he is mentally unstable and way passed it but so is Holyfield. The fact they are talking like title shot is crazy. It is just King hyping back his return as more than a one shot deal against Holyfield. But who knows and to tell you the truth you never know. I think he might have one fight against a nobody who is not 6 foot 11 and he has a good shot at winning that one by KO he and Holyfield bang it out in the III'rd and he goes straight to the bank with it like 50....Lefty
I do agree, there is a good margin of profit with these two fighters and the key is to match them properly. But is more like a sideshow and not like world contenders. There is still some money to make with those two names
We all cringe at the thought of this but I dunno, I think Mike might have his head and heart into this after seeing his past few interviews. I get the feeling he wants to redeem himself and I think he needs to get some rage out after his daughter's death. NOt saying this is the right way but if its true I hope he does it right and is successful in finding what he needs.
i hope he doesnt do a comeback, he lost 3 of his last 4 fights.
he could get seriously hurt, not only physically, against mcbride he was damn close to crying at the end of the fight.
i dont think his ego could take more losses against fighters he would have destroyed in the 80s.
Not to far in the past they were gonna make a Tyson world tour and match him up against low level fighters so every small city that never saw Tyson live could see him. More like a circus act or a "Butter Bean" type of attraction of fighting for only 4 rounds. I hope he stays retired, he is really mentally unstable
