Cuz Floyd is not quite on the level of the P4P king Manny Pacquiao. I think Floyd needs a very impressive win over Sugar Shane to warrant 50/50 versus the Pacman.

i think not mayweather doubled pacquiao in ppv with marquez 300k more vs hatton and 800k more against de la hoya. You should check your facts pacquiao is an exciting fighter but p4p mayweather is better. the only way it should be even close to 50/50 is if pacquiao agrees to testing if not 66/33 the other way.
There's a big difference Manny has never ridiculed and dismissed a possible opponent because of their losses.
If Floyd beats Manny and Shane would you put him over Pac?
Does Manny not have 3 losses and 2 draws, one being extremely controversial?

watch how floyd makes manny look like an amateur and watch how stupid the threadstarter will look as well as manny's fans---once floyd beats the living shit out of manny---i won't give manny any rounds in the fight and floyd will stop manny by the 8th round---it won't go past 8 coz floyd will dominate manny and ferddie roach will have a heart attack and throw in the towel unless manny decides to get out the ring, grab the towel, and throw it in himself---
He's already on Pacs level, above him actually. If he beats Shane, he'll cement his position as one of the all time greats.
You mean the same guy Floyd ridiculed for having 5 losses?

even floyd dominates shane he isn't yet in pac's level.
there were already a lot of rumblings by boxing writers while floyd was still active whether or not pac deserved number 1 due to floyd's ho hum performances vs not so great opposition. i think there was even a ring magazine cover asking the question should pac be 1#.
when he knocked out ricky hatton, alot of that was erased though, i particularly remember that. keep in mind, pacs next outing would be a lackluster performence in a fight he would arguably lose. he then fought diaz, but his true namesake came during the dela hoya upset. up until then, floyd still had a large margin even during retirement. however wins over hatton, cotto seperated him a bit. Mayweather with a win over mosley however would put them on even terms IMO.
Most probable outcomes:
Manny stops Clottey in a very exciting FOTY type fight...
Floyd goes 12 boring rounds with Shane...
May 2nd, Manny is still the top Welter and still higher than Floyd on the All Time List.
You are an IDIOT. Ricky gave Floyd plenty of fits, if it wasn't for Cortez, that fight may have turned out very different.
Cortez did the right thing. Both of them were fighting very dirty on the inside. He broke them up before something bad could happen.
Its sad that, that happens to play against Hatton's style. But regardless style shouldn't play into whether or not this or that official likes to break a lot of clinches or not. And if he does break a lot clinches, make for damn sure you have the skill to offset what you lose in officiating.
Hatton did not have the skill to offset the officiating. He would have lost regardless of who was officiating the fight that night, as many straight rights, and counter lefts he was eating.
What status? P4P? WW ranking? Popularity? If he beats Shane, PBF is rightfully the #1 WW in boxing, although with a win on Clottey, Pac would retain his Ring ranking officially.
If he dominated Floyd he would be above Manny IMO. It would take an act of God like Floyd badly breaking his hand in order to be dominated by Mosley, especially since Mosley isn't known to adapt during the fight.
