Now Mayweather is discreditng Pacquiao on his recent interview with a British journalist, right after Pacquiao's historic 7th title in 7 divisions. Floyd, in the ring is always a sportsman, he doesnt fight dirty and always gives opponents their due at the end of a fight. During the buildup however, thats when you break an opponent down and impose the mentality that you are better than them. Come on man. This is fukkin boxing. Again, some of you live in a fantasy land where everyone is nice, humble and holds hands before a fight. Its fukkin buildup man, promotion, its what draws interest to a fight. These people fight for a living, and im being dead serious, if i was floyd and people constantly put me on the defensive, constantly saying that i picked all my comptetition even though i cleaned out 2 divisions. That i won 5 titles in 5 weight classes but im a "paper champ". That i duck everyone and duck challanges yet ive been in the top 3 in the p4p rankings for 10 years, you think i would give a fukk about showing anyone any respect? I seriously would not care. Again, you arent in floyds position, nor are you at the top level of a sport where people punch each other for a living. I fully understand how he feels because from his position, nobody will give me credit, so why should give a sh!t about anyone elses accomplishments in and around myweight class, especially if they are potential opponents? No, maybe not, but why do a 360 when he gets near your weight division and remove all the credit you could possibly recieve by beating him? He's one-dimensional? He's overrated? Then why the hell fight him?!! Basically Floyd deserves no credit for a victory over Pacquiao now. You know what we'll hear if he wins: "I just beat the best P4P. Manny is one hell of as fighter, tough as nails!" Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. He should have said Manny is a true great, and to solidify his own standing as an ATG he needs to beat him. I think Floyd was mostly rooting against Morales though, from what I've heard, there was a bit of a tiff between Terrible and Mayweather. Not sure how true it is though.
