Now Mayweather is discreditng Pacquiao on his recent interview with a British journalist, right after Pacquiao's historic 7th title in 7 divisions. But did you know Mayweather was once a fan of Pacquiao and what it seems, his style of boxing. You don't believe me? Watch Pacquiao vs. Morales II and tell me he wasn't going crazy after Pacquiao's KO victory. Stood up on his chair and raised both his hands aloft first before Pacquiao did to celebrate!!!!

Im very bad at keeping supporting documents but did you know that He Had Manny winning againts JMM in the 1st fight???
as i remember it here's what he said
"How can you have a draw if you knock your opponent down 3 times? "
at this time he was at odds with Arum who is JMM's promoter.... so....
:D
wow...yall just figured that out lol
been known about that and everytime he talks to bad about PACQUIAO, i can clearly see its cuz of jealousy lol....frill frill, he was a HUGE pacman fan(true talk) saying that if he had to choose another fighter(other than himself) to be the pound for pound champ, he didnt even hesitate...and said "Manny Pacquiao" lol...
yall need to catch up meng!!!
its proven fact that floyd just went to the boxing gym throughout his childhood and teens, and never got that attention lol....the dude has the biggest jealousy(as does his family - his uncle getting mad at angelo dundee for no reason lol)

Floyd, in the ring is always a sportsman, he doesnt fight dirty and always gives opponents their due at the end of a fight. During the buildup however, thats when you break an opponent down and impose the mentality that you are better than them. Come on man. This is fukkin boxing. You think guys like James Toney or Ali sat around like "man how can i be a sportsman today" Fukk that. Save that sh!t for when the fight ends. Again, some of you live in a fantasy land where everyone is nice, humble and holds hands before a fight. Its fukkin buildup man, promotion, its what draws interest to a fight.
And floyds additude is far from the reason as to why people dislike him, there are alot of factors that have been in place long before he became "money mayweather" and threw money at the camera.\
I guess we won't I agree in this matter....If manny and cotto can do it, why can't mayweather? I've seen a lot of arrogant boxers but mayweather takes it to a new level....You said that this is his way of breaking down his opponent but IMO, it can go both ways.....Either floyd will get into his opponent's head or his opponent will be more motivated to beat him and prove him...Manny usually get's more motivated whenever someone underestimates him(ask cotto's camp).....
Ever heard of the word "sportsmanship"? It's a word for a reason...The reason why people dislike floyd is because of his attitude....I respect the man's skills and accomplishments but the dude talks too much...

These people fight for a living, and im being dead serious, if i was floyd and people constantly put me on the defensive, constantly saying that i picked all my comptetition even though i cleaned out 2 divisions. That i won 5 titles in 5 weight classes but im a "paper champ". That i duck everyone and duck challanges yet ive been in the top 3 in the p4p rankings for 10 years, you think i would give a fukk about showing anyone any respect? I seriously would not care.
Again, you arent in floyds position, nor are you at the top level of a sport where people punch each other for a living. I fully understand how he feels because from his position, nobody will give me credit, so why should give a sh!t about anyone elses accomplishments in and around myweight class, especially if they are potential opponents? You get too caught up in humility and respect, when respect, even when mayweather was fighting legit and good competition, was something he barely got regardless.

I'm not saying that floyd should say, "PAC is better than me"...All I'm saying is that he should show pac some respect the way cotto and pac did w/ each other....Is it that hard for him to acknowledge the accomplishments of others???

No, maybe not, but why do a 360 when he gets near your weight division and remove all the credit you could possibly recieve by beating him?
He's one-dimensional? He's overrated? Then why the hell fight him?!! Basically Floyd deserves no credit for a victory over Pacquiao now. You know what we'll hear if he wins: "I just beat the best P4P. Manny is one hell of as fighter, tough as nails!"
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. He should have said Manny is a true great, and to solidify his own standing as an ATG he needs to beat him. You don't need shit talk to sell a fight. Pacquiao-Cotto proved it. Both of them left the trash talk to other people and let their hands do the talking in ring.
I can remember being deployed in a past life, and i remember thinking about how all of us, in order to give ourselves more confidence to be prepared for whatever the enemy had for us, we broke them down to being virtually inhuman and not on our level in any aspect of combat. Its that mentality that drove me to come back home alive.
Its the same in competitive sports. You see it all the time "their defense aint sh!t" "that b!tch cant defend me!" etc.
Regardless, you say "you dont need to talk trash to sell a fight". But undeniably, mayweathers antics generate more revenue then any other fight, because it generates a level of interest that no other fighter can at the moment. Mayweather vs any humble personality is ALWAYS going to sell more than two humble personalities together.
its about making money, and i think like many fans, you fall into this idea that fighters should think and act a certain way. These people punch each other in the face for a living, and the idea that just because floyd is flamboyant and willing to perpetuate ignorant statements once in awhile, means that he should go to some boxing charm school and be a certain way is just meaningless.
Hes the most discussed fighter on this board, and if you havent noticed, every anticipated matchup in and around the division, is himself vs whoever. In this instance, pac the humble hero vs mayweather the loudmouth jerk. It sparks interest because if everyone just sat around congratulating each other or only throwing a few jabs here and there, thats nowhere near as interesting as mayweather ripping an all time great as "easy work".
Untimely, you will buy the ppv, you will watch it, and you will come back on here and comment, thats all pac and mayweather care about. interest.

lol nice found .... I think Floyd didn't expect Pacman to go up on his weight and now Pacman is the biggest threat of his precious record(40 girls-0 man).
If he just hates morales, Floyd should be pointing his dirty finger at Morales after Pac Koes EM. But he was pointing at Pac & saying "You're the Man!! You're the man!! It very Clear.... Floyd was a fan boy of Pac that night!!!!
Yes. It wasnt until people thought that Pac would beat him he had to change his tune, and again, i dont blame him at all.
I think Floyd was mostly rooting against Morales though,
from what I've heard, there was a bit of a tiff between Terrible and Mayweather. Not sure how true it is though. Wouldn't be surprised as Morales was quite a star on his own.
