I really feel bad for guys like Joshua Clottey and Carlos Quintana, who were supposed to open the HBO telecast Dec. 5. Now they're out because that was Top Rank's fight, and it won't be involved in a reformulated card. It would be nice to see HBO stick with the fight, but that's not going to happen. Instead, don't be shocked to see the return of heavyweight Cristobal Arreola. And don't be surprised if David Tua faces him. Clottey went from thinking he'd meet Shane Mosley in December (until HBO reneged) to being bumped to an undercard against Quintana to being left with nothing. Quintana was supposed to fight Saturday in Puerto Rico but was taken off the card for the bigger opportunity against Clottey. Now Quintana has nothing, either. - Dan Rafael
I don't think it would be a good idea for Arreola's handlers to put him in against Tua after a loss. He should go for a tune up. But I would love to see this. Tua by KO.
Interesting fight. It should be a great brawl with a KO finish.
Let's see if Tua is still the same. Cameron was a C level fighter, a good journeyman. Arreola is flawed but world class.
Old School Tua destroys him, if he's not motivated Arreola could pull off an upset.
This would be a great fight for as long as it lasts but I don't really think it'll happen, I doubt Arreola's team would put him in against someone as dangerous as Tua in his first fight back.
I got Tua winning this if it in fact does happen though because I think whoever wins this fight will be the guy that can take the better shot and that should still be the Tuaminator.
this is going to be wild. styles make fights, they make wars too. arreola is not going to give up, he either knocks or dies trying. im going for arreola to win by ko in 4.
