I got bored so I tried to find some good street fights on google. I ended up finding this:
http://www.explosivefightvideos.com/
I think every fight I watched on that site, had two kids just throwing their arms around like retards hoping to get a punch off. Anyone here ever get into any fights anywhere out side of your gym and end up demolishing them?
I offered to spar a bodybuilder at my gym seeing as he constantly tries to call me out to box him. He is about 220 pounds. I am a featherweight. We lace them and he had to be 'somewhere' Once they know you box and are prepare to fight them they always back of. Funny story.
Yea. Funny how out of all the people in that gym, he calls you out of anyone and "backs" off when he realize you can "fight". Wonder why :boxing:....:dead1:
That's so fake.
A camera just happened to be there?
Kinda silly logic, cameras happen to be everywhere nowadays. Whether its real or fake is debatable tho.
Yeah, I hate the stereotype that a lot of people believe that if you're jacked, then you can fight.
Whenever I see a fight it's a rare occasion that I see people put there hands up anywhere higher than their chest. They usually get into some whack Kimbo Slice fighters stance with their hands made into fists two feet out in front of them.
Its shocking how many guys dont know how to throw a punch it really is!
U just assume Everyone is born knowing how to throw a punch, i knew before boxing anyways but that aint the case!
come over to my boxing gym n u will get a shock at some of the punches ul recieve

What do you mean doesn't know how to throw a punch exactly? Like can't throw a hard straight punch or isn't capable of mixing up hooks and jabs? Essentially that most untrained folks would just throw wild roundhouse punches from their waist until landing..
Tell ya what.
They should put them kids on the undercards of some major fights.
Let'em go at it without gear and gloves. Plus they'll make a little money while they're at it.
You'll definitely get more excitement from those than a lot of the undercard fights we've been getting on PPV.
I try to avoid street fighting since I know if I sit down on my punches my hand is most likely going to break without being properly wrapped. People that don't box can't throw a proper punch and are clueless on defending one. Bodybuilders are the worst fighters without any boxing training. They think they're bad because of their size, but they can't fight and have piss poor stamina.
yea its crazy. some guy called me out with text messages a while back, i was like whatever if he wants some he can get it. so he got scared and got his friends to start texting me too, i was like "ill take all of u on no problem". and they punked out.. i guess thats more about mental toughness though, i mean they know that i box so i just let them know how confident i was and they got scared. not to say i was bluffing but if i was they didnt call it, u feel me?
my point is, true most ppl cant fight. aswell as they wont even with the odds in their favor if they think they have even the slightsest chance of losing. since boxing nobody has intimidated me outside of the ring, others are mentally weak.
weird site that.
How does someone collate all the stuff?
Put yeah, 95% of people's first punch would be a crazy wide haymaker that a competant person with any kind of reactions would have to be drunk not to avoid.
I remember watching 'I love New York' the first series, when Chance put the geeky Boston out and was convinced that he could fight. He couldn't fight at all, I wonder if someone kicked his arse since then.
I broke my ex's bf's face some years ago. I did a Tyson right hook then left hook in the southpaw position. I was like " This mofo can't fight for shit, thank God for boxing!"
your ex-boyfriends face?
Boxing is ultimately a form of self defense. And as such should never be practiced outside of the gym/dojo unless it is a last resort. Just like someone with a blackbelt in whatever martial art it is.....you could get arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon because of your training.
i'd have to disagree, boxing is a sport, self defense is alot more uglier (biting/gouging/kicking to the nuts etc) If ur life depends on it, u'd do anything to protect it and boxing wud come last for me, if someone had me cornered with a knife, a kick to the nuts wud spring to mind

I don't wanna turn this into a MMA vs. Boxing debate but MMA is a lot more than 2 guys throwing girly punches at each other and "rolling around" on the ground trying to tap each other out...that's like saying boxing's just two guys throwing punches at each other...You're comparing a bunch of street brawling thugs to hard working athletes, Mixed Martial Arts is not streetfighting man =/.
but to answer your question...yes! Yes it has, once i really got into this kinda thing i noticed how wacky some people are...i notice a lot of kids backi n my middleschool would pull htier heads back to their asses and throw lil bitch punches all while talking shit...not to mention how they completely pull back they're arm before swining AHAHAAAAHAA
Co sign..The other chap obviously hasnt got a clue
HAHHAHA...This is why I don't like MMA...It's 2 cats who throw punches like girls then roll around the ground trying to get the other guy 2 tapout(QUIT). It'S RIDICULOUS.
