Fight Night Round 4 sucks

I came into this thread expecting a great gameplay flaw to be revealed but instead only to realize that the thread starter is a noob who can't use joysticks LOL, game breaker flaw I been playing FN since round 1 and never have I used buttons, synthesis combinations and countering with the analogue takes true skill and practice, but once you master that attribute of countering and throwing combinations with the joystick, your practically unstoppable. I for one am very thankful that the developers got ride of buttonmashers/noobs from this game, this warrants true competition. and btw I love owning button mashers online, after 1 or 2 rounds I can usually tell who has true skill or is a noob masher. ;)

But gone are those days..Ive been a Stick man now for a least a week (Room claps) And this Game is fuking sick!!! Im one of the orignal hata's but this game is badddd.. Tyson is unreal just blasted out Foreman in 3 rounds Just dented Campbell with the Pacman 5th round KO Snuck a points win against Hearns with Hatton folks but it was difficult got cut up bad and also did a fair share of clinching.. Does clinching deduct points like the previous FN3? Top that off with Lewis Bltizing out Roy Jones Jnr in the 1st round i also completed that feat with Tyson same result only Lewis was a bit more brutal Game is off the Hook... No doubt. The game is sick.

Whoever thinks fight night round 4 sucks is a ****ing idiot. It's the most realistic boxing game ever made from a gameplay standpoint. Sure it's not perfect and theres plenty of noobs that spam 100 right crosses in a row but no other boxing game ever produced has ever truly replicated the realism of 1 punch being able to change the entire momentum of the fight like fight night rd 4. I am able to throw every punch and combination i can think of with the sticks. People complain that every fight is won based on workrate but i beg to differ. I am undefeated on xbox live with just under 30 wins notched and i have yet to have a fight with higher punch output than my opponent.

Dont bring your wack ass wind up toy punches either or youll get clocked. I am a true boxin specimen on this game.. no lame ass unrealistic wind up toy punches that take 5 seconds to wind up while the other guys arms are unrealistically down and hangin for 5 seconds. Leave that kiddy arcade style behind and come see me. Jabs, hooks, uppercuts, str8's, but just dont bring them wind up toy punches. sucka! boxin skills only.

Fighters fall all generic when ko'd. spin and drop is soo corny. Menu navigation - great I put this frisby on eBay immediately and cant even attempt to try it again. Why cant Mike Tyson get a decent game made for him? Str8 garbage from EA sports. Im a victim of the hype again. Thank God for eBay. this game isnt worth the plastic it came in. you prolly work for THQ. not that undisputed sux (its actually good) but quit hating and get used to the controls already.

been playing it all day yesterday and today the game is sick...

They all move the same, and it just seems too un-realistic i think! Just throwing punches left right and centre! Defintetly a great game though.

it's a good game but i preffer buttons can make better combos and it punch exactly how i want, with the analog it's ok but sometimes i want to throw an upper cut and it throws to the body:boxing:

This cat probably cried about qb vision on Madden as well. "this game sucks because I can't get my guy to look in the right direction" I know right. I had a friend who said Madden sucked because he got intercepted all the time. Then I told him to stop throwing off his back foot. The next pass he threw a laser for a touchdown. I've heard they're working out some kinks and the demo was not nearly what the full version will be. FNR4 will be the greatest boxing game ever. No doubt about it.

the health regenerates to quick and the footwork is really slow, but i will get used to it, apparently the career is good, we will have to wait and see

So you think the game sucks because your unable to adapt to a more complete punching system? They should of put buttons in it for the people that love it but just because you can't pull off punches the game stinks? Come on man, step your game up and actually practice. As for the boxers models I really don't care to much as long as they look somewhat close. I want a true boxing sim or stunning graphics and I believe this is the closest we have ever got. You can do that all in fight night round 3 and with buttons... Have you even played fight night round 3? You can clinch and push off with button ins it... Everything you mentioned you can do in fight night round 3 with anal stick or buttons, I'm like shocked with your post right now because I'm not sure you ever played fight night round 3 since you didn't even know you can clinch in the game and push your opponent off... And I don't know what the **** you're talking about but the analog stick controls throw exactly the same punches buttons would. Talking about leaning towards a certain side? I'm pretty sure their could be a r1 or r2 button for that if they really wanted to add buttons while moving and throwing a body punch... You tpc hating on button users are totally sick in the ****ing head. I don't know why the **** you assholes don't understand people pay 60 dollars for games for options on configs and so on not just to throw 60 bucks away. Roid rage strikes once again. :bottle:

Not buying this game. Cannot use buttons...I tried the analog stick and cannot throw the combo I have in mind because the dmn punch control does not work well from left to right. They also did not do a good job at making fighters look like themselves. Pacman looks like a member of Menudo...if you have a ps3 you can dwnld the demo at the PS store for free. Check it out for yourself, not impressed its only a game! no need to cry about it!

after readin the posts on here regarding the demo, my expectations went down but i gotta say after playing the demo I AM HYPED FOR THIS GAME!!!! the punch control is fluid, the fighters react much more realistically to shots. THE BULLSHIT PARRY IS GONE!!!:D:D. plus the roster looks stacked, a lot of great match-ups r gonna be made lol. only negative i can say is the footwork is poor, its very hard to stay away and maneuver around the ring. im pre-ordering this asap.
