Recently I have seen a few fights where a boxer fails to adopt the one tactic that would give him the chance of the win.
The latest victim is Kendall Holt, guy is an idiot. All he had to do was throw the Jab from rounds 1-12 and he would have been the unified Junior Welterweight champion, instead Kendall decides to use it until he knocks Bradley down, stops using it so he loses most of the next 7 rounds, then waits right until the end of the fight when its too late to start giving Bradley problems with it.
Any other examples and why the hell can't some of these guys stick to the tactic that is working?
I know I ride this alot but....
Zab Judah trying to be Pernell Whitaker against Kotsyu Tszyu. How stupid can you be really? That was like the only punch Tszyu even landed on him. If not then the only clean punch. 2 seconds left??? really Zab.... fucking stupid.
Nah, Kostya landed a short right hand before that, got him with some good jabs and got him with some bodywork, judah felt the power and started to shut down in round 2, his punch output wasnt the same to me as it was round 1 Kostya just cut off the ring better and sorted him out.

Billy Conn vs Joe Louis. Billy Conn was outboxing the brown bomber all fight then suddenly thought he could actually knock him out. Big mistake that was.
De La Hoya vs. Trinidad always comes to mind.
Why the **** was Oscar Running the last rounds. He is stupid for that, and that fight will haunt his career, because if he would have won that fight, i feel he would have been higher in Legacy.
u are so damn right sir...
Yup, Golota by a mile!
Klitschko vs Lewis is another example. Vitali always methodically breaks his oponents down, but when he's up against the best he's ever faced, he tries to blow him out. Great moment to completely change your style.
He did the same to Hyde, though. He's either a little arrogant or over excited on the big stage.
Moorer had lost maybe 2 rds at most to Foreman, but he kept walkin to him tryin for a KO. :pat:
Ditto, I mean shit he stood there right in front of him which was a very dumb thing to do against Foreman. If he would have moved more and been more cautious he had the fight.
He should have known better, cause he did get stunned in one of the earlier rounds too so he should have respected Foreman's power more.
Nate Campbell vs Isaac Hlatschwayo...... Campbell was roughing him up pretty good in the first few rounds, doing great work on the inside to the body..... Then for some reason he suddenly stopped, and started trying to fight a man who was over half a foot taller than him on the outside and basically got picked apart the second half of the fight.
One's that really spring to mind are Bowe/Golota, Campbell/Pedean. Even do i think De La Hoya was robbed against Tito Trinidad i still think he could of just been a little bit more active throwing punchers and doing a touch lessing moving. Just to cerment his win with the judges.
Lots more, but they come to mind.
I'm sure this is the first thing that comes to everyones minds:
P4P Greatest Idiotic performance in the history of the Heavyweight division:

lol, golota takes the cake and easily I might add.
I don't know what the rest of you guys are seeing. Every time I watch that fight I give Winky the 12th round.
Co-sign my nig! I gave Winky 1-3 (rd 1 was close), 5, 8-9, 11-12. Winky Wright won that ****in fight! :damnit1:
All very good ones for sure...but for sheer stupidity sake....this one takes the cake...and I defy anyone to come up with a better one....
He should of have had his license taken away after that one.
Banned for gross stupidity.
Winky againsts Jermain Taylor. I still thought Wink won the fight but he basically surrendered the last round
