Shiet, after the beating in the forums Pac received for his shoulder.. Why would anyone wanna be hearin this excuse. Did he mention it after the fight? No? Must've been made up by his advisor/promoter/trainer.
While I believe he may have been doing whatever drugs, that's his problem. Don't try to discredit JCC cause of that ****.
It read JCC' brother said CHavez was doing drugs, and he would have like 4 week camps because he was out partying and was confident in his self. This was towards the end of his career, the guy was on top and finally generating alot of money.
his brother said that was one of the main reasons why he had some lackluster performances. But when he dedicated himself in training, he looked nearly unstoppable.
People like to point at the Parnell W fight, but he was heavily on coke/drugs and alcohol before the fight. His brother who was a fighter and in his corner said it in one of his interviews, that he had really short training camps because all the stuff he was doing messed up with his training. He was on top of the world and felt like he could do what ever he wanted. He thought no one could beat him when he dedicated himself completely.

early 140 Chavez would have knocked out PBF.

Quality. But Chavez had more of it.
I agree about Pea requiring a "masterpiece" to beat him and it wasn't exactly a blowout. Also don't forget how late into JCC's career that happened.
Styles make fights, Chavez and De La Hoya are like night and day, he was asking what do they have stylistically in common that says that Chavez could excecute the same way de la hoya does, chavez is not 5'10, chavez didint fight at 154 for 6 years, chavez doesnt have a long reach and vicious jab is his point.
You bring up how late this happened in chavez career, so what? Whitaker was in the olympics in 84 in the amatuers, chavez was knocking out bums during this time as well, what difference does it make, it would have happened to chavez at any point in his career, Whitaker was, is, and always will be superior to chavez. Mayweather is one of the closest things to whitaker as far as boxing IQ and Defense go in this day and age, there is nothing there to me that says chavez wouldnt be figured out and outboxed.
What do JCC and Oscar have in common?

And note, I dont have a problem with picking JC to win. He was a great fighter, and it took Pea's masterpiece to beat him decisively.
I have a problem with making up bullshit to back up your pick.
PBF barely beat a past-it DLH - largely because Oscar gassed midway through - and he's going to beat a prime JCC? I don't think so.
So prime 140 JCC comes in the ring weighing 160+?
Does he have a long, fast jab, a 3" inch size advantage?
What do JCC and Oscar have in common?
That's what I thought
To all the Mayweather fan go and rewatch the 2nd Castillo fight. Its still a very close fight.
Mayweather is over rated, maybe it he would have stayed in boxing to show his true potential then i'd give him a chance to beat Chavez. But FACT is Mayweather had all he could handle when he fought Castillo, where Mayweather was in his prime and Chavez was NOT in his prime when he fought Whitiker and thats a FACt. Mayweather had trouble with fighters that came to him Chavez, Hernandez, Castillo, even Vargas gave him his first real test all fighters that come forward. So to say that Chavez is made for Mayweather is really funny.
Mayweathers down fall is that he is willing to trade with his opponst. And he is willing to stay in place and duck and dodge. You can't do that shit with Chavez and think you can win. Castillo showed in his fight with MAywather that he doesn't like it to the body. And thats one this Chavez is great at. At 135 Chavez was just as fast as Mayweather or could be. At 140 he was just at strong as Mayweather and had the chin of a steel. Mayweather would be in deep shit he'd be on his bicycle cause if he stops then he get runned over by Chavez.
Your hate for Chavez just because of what happened in the Taylor fight is disgusting.
Beyond the fact that *like everyone* he doesnt like to be hit in the body, He didnt show to be particularly susceptible to body shots. So I dont know what you mean by that.
But the quote of the year is the second one.
At 135 Chavez was just as fast as Mayweather or could be.
And you have the nerve to tell other people they are biased...

At 154.
At 140, Mayweather UD's JCC. Deal with it.
...LOLOLOL...Beast?!?!?...WTF?!?!?...Tyson = beast...Haggler = beast...Foreman = beast...but PBF a beast?...I just shit myself on that one...
Kabuki Joe
Go wipe your fucking shitty drawls then, cockphag.
And at least give the great HAGLER his due by spelling his name right.
Not even Steele could save JCC in a fight with Mayweather.
I think people forget how much of a beast Mayweather was at 135 and 140.

Floyd would never fight Chavez so really its a dead argument.
But Chavez would wear down Floyd, smaller fighters then Chavez have been able to corner Floyd Chavez would do a better job. You mention Whitiker but Chavez wanted the rematch, Whitiker wanted an admitince by Chavez first wtf? And look at the Whitiker fight and you'll know its not as one sided as many think.
No, it was as one sided as people think and if you're trying to convince people that Chavez won or it was close, then that speaks for itself. Chavez didn't want a rematch because he got spanked the first time. You can't rewrite history.
Funny that you described exactly Camacho instead of Whitaker,
Just the fact he considers it absurd to compare whitaker to mayweather, but hes saying that Chavez walking down camacho is basically an acceptable comparison.
Speed alone isnt why i pick mayweather, its the fact that you dont really know what hes going to do. Its probably the biggest reason his opponents punch output gets so low when he fights, it would be the same with chavez.
People act like Castillo gave mayweather this vicious beating, it wasnt like that, he just looked vunerable. The second fight was a much better indicator, its ok to run to Castillo Mayweather I, but its not ok to compare Whitaker/Mayweather in that same sense. Of course the Whitaker nostalgia sets in, and those same people who likely hated whitaker for "running" want to sing his praises now.
The hate for Chavez never seems to stop.
Castillo is a lesser clone of Chavez. And its FACT! That after Floyd fought Castillo he stayed away from a real challenge for a long ass time! FACT!
The only FACT! is that after Floyd fought Castillo he gave him an immediate rematch. I wonder on what planet "immediate rematch of your toughest opponent" is called "staying away from a real challenge..."
Tired of so many of your people saying, "oh, its because he's Mexican."
Mayweather had trouble with Mexican boxers and thats a fact as he had trouble with the Salvadorian in Hernandez. Floyd is just a Roy Jones Jr. in that he has hand picked his opponets, George said, "got to make the most money with the little risk as possable." Floyd did that for awhile.
The only remotely close to "trouble with Hernandez" was a broken hand...
So... Mayweather did not have trouble with Mexican boxers, he had trouble with Castillo. ONCE.
