It was reported on Telemundo that Erik Morales plans to make a comeback in 09. They asked his manager and said that Erik needed time off and is eager to comback. He said that Erik felt he beat David Diaz and he wants another shot at Manny Pacquiao. Add another victory for the Filipino , if they fight again. We reported this like a month ago I think :damnit:

I always wanted to see morales against marquez, this late in the ball game, morales should just not fight at all.. It might happen if Manny moves up to 140. The thing is , that Erik wants to fight at 135 , thats not a good weight for him. Boxing is like a drug, you gotta have a last hit.

Fuck if Morales is going to comeback, he might as well fight Marquez to complete the cycle. It's too bad he's shot though.

Besides, if I was Pac, I wouldn't give him a rematch anyways. He is old news and Pac is just fighting bigger and better. Why take a step back in a meaningless rematch he is sure to win?
