PACQUIAO versus.... COTTO ?!?!?!?!

I just thought of that. With all this talk of DLH-PACQUIAO, a seemingly unfair fight in favor of DLH just because of the size difference, what about COTTO-PACQUIAO, which would be a MUCH MUCH MUCH more fair fight in terms of size. Cotto is only 1/2 an inch taller and is a small welterweight. pac would obviously have to develop up the ranks. But lets say he fights Hatton and wins. What do you think of a Pacquiao-Cotto fight? that would be huuuuuuuuge... and amaaaaaaaaaaazing thoughts? manny would knock him out!!!!!! ......at 135. cotto is way too strong for manny. maybe if cotto is willing to go back down to 140 manny has a shot but cotto can't go to 140 anymore. at 147 manny would get beat up and bad. manny would do better with oscar than cotto imo. manny will probably still get koed if he catches a odlh hook but at least oscar won't be in his face every single second beating him downstairs. a good combo downstairs from miguel and manny will be on all fours pounding the ring with his fist ala "delahoya against hop".

im a believer in both fighters... the match up is interesting but quite improbable, but if we break down the fight i guess the power shots of cotto to the body would be devastating, and probably will slow down pac (which is pacs tool ever since) so pac with out speed would prolly end up him kissing the canvass, but if pac manages to bear on cotto and unleashes fully automatic , i guess it would be pac on decision or a slim chance KO.

I'm a fan of both, but I wouldn't want to see this fight, at all. Cotto is far too big and strong for Pac, period.

I'm a Pacquiao fan but Cotto would bust him up, not only does cotto have excellent speed to, he'd break pacs ribs with the body shots. Pacquiao does have an iron chin, he only got Koed when he was a wee lad, ever since he's taken some huge hits and kept fighting like a monster.

nah. Pacs chin is IRON, probably will still be strong at welter. And Cotto is tough and has a decent chin, pacs power prob wont all be there at 147 It would be a BRUTAL fight, no doubt about that, but i think it would go at least 8 IMO. Marquez hurt Pacman BADLY to the body in their last fight. I cringe to think what Cotto would do.

Let's wait and see if Pacquiao will do well at 135 first, Cotto is a strong welterweight, he's short but he's strong and would beat Pacquiao pretty easily, the strength differential would be too much.
