Winky Wright in training again

ok, whoever thinks pavlik will ko winky is not a boxing fan or has never seen winky fight before. I'm a pavlik fan and I will tell you that a ko is not happening. But pavlik will win by a wider UD than he did over Taylor thats for sure. I say Pavlik should fight sturm and abraham to collect the other 2 major belts so he could have all 4 and than fight winky. That is pretty much the only threats he has right now at middleweight. Maybe the up n' comer andy lee as well but can't imagine andy lee lasting long against pavlik with his fighting style.

winky is getting old. not sure if he could keep up with the huge output, but winky is great and one of the best at fighting backwards. could be a good fight!

He needs to fight by June/July. So that he can get a big fight in the fall. Maybe Taylor, Jones, or Pavlik. Wink doesn't get hit too cleanly and also has a good beard. So he could go 12 with Pavlik easy in my opinion. If I were Pavlik I would go to Winky's body because he's older and his balance is all fucked up. That's his only chance of a KO. Taylor could have went 12 against Pavlik in the 1st fight it's just that his defense was really poor. So it's not a guarantee Pavlik would blow Winky out. With Winky's defence and jab, I don't think it's possible for Pavlik to blow him out, and I can almost guarantee this one going the distance. Not sure if Winky hits hard enough to put Pavlik on the defensive though, and if Kelly goes to the body more and throws more punches period (he'll probably have to throw twice as many as Winky, with Wink blocking 75-80% of them,) Kelly will likely win the decision.

Good to hear he's in training. Recently, Winky has fought more offensively and as a result he has gotten hit more, he can't do this against Pavlik.

I can't see Pavlik K.O.ing Winky. He's defense is still amongst the best in boxing at this time.

Pavlik would KO Winky - he'll find a way through his "earmuffs" defense. I want to see this fight... WOW, Winky DOES NOT fight with earmuffs. Otherwise he would be tagged by looping shots all night long. His turtle shell TECHNIQUE is alot more difficult than it looks, and damn affective when used correctly.
