This is partially true, but not necessarily because Boxing is a sport where a mismatch can put you in the hospital. true but I think its just so funny when people say things like that. I always say that Emmanuel Augustus calls Floyd out all the time. He'll fight anyone also. Look how many bums or average guys are on every top guys resume. Does that make them super brave guys who would fight anyone? no, they have to do that to make anykind of money or get anykind of exposure but once you get to the max elite level then you think about things more because you call the shots and are taking the biggest risk because everyone is trying to knock you off and looking for there own personal huge pay day

I remember watching the Mayorga/Spinks fight. He looked so clueless as Spinks slapped him all night. (Spinks has a similiar style to Floyd but Floyd is always more focused & hits harder) Imagine the heat the haters would give Floyd if he fought Mayorga. Spinks lost that fight easily. He lost as many as 9 rounds I'd say. 8 is fair, maybe 9.

KO'd against 2 feather fisted guys like Baldomir and Gomez. At 130,135 and 140 the guy would eat punches like they were his favorite snack. It means alot.
