James Kirkland- “He [Ishida] wasn't anything. He had no power. This was messed up."

Props to Zslot Erdei
Can't say I have ever been much of a fan of his style, his inactivity, or the way he held his 175 title hostage against modest opposition despite being the linear champ when it comes down to it; that being said, HUGE props for late in his career coming to the states, signing with an American promoter and wanting to make big fights happen. Hope to see them, boring or not, he is skilled.

Carlos Baldomir got KTFO
As you can see by my sig, I am a big fan,but fanboys don't man up often enough when their man gets beat. So I am doing the noble thing and saying Alvarez kicked his ass. What a ****ing KO! Saul is the real deal. Kudos.

I have seen 100's of KOs and...
Frenkel vs Macca might be the most brutal I have ever seen. That was ****ing insane. What the **** was that referee thinking letting Enzo continue after that hook? The fight was over. Great win for Frenkel. Looking forward to watching him.

Floyd has a great chin
Those were HUGE right hands Shane hit him with. Yeah, Floyd was a little stunned, a little hurt, but he proved that along with his world-class skills, he has a world class chin. Sure he pisses me off sometimes, but the man is SUBLIME. Just like Pacquiao. They have to fight.
The second one hurt him more, but those were knock-you-the-****-out shots! He took them and stayed in the pocket!

Baldomir KOs Siris in 4
This may have been posted before, but its always nice to see a good guy like Baldomir put in a KO. Not a great opponent, but 18 KOs in 19 wins makes for a decent comeback opponent.
Looked a touch rusty, but still had that sneaky lead right hand that he always has had, he countered nicely, finished his man off, and still totally unphased by any punch haha.

If Manny beats...
...Floyd by KO10, Mosley by KO3 and then wins a JMW belt afterwards, against say, Foreman or Spinks, then retires, where would you rank him in all time? Assume all are brutal, clean, uncontroversial KOs.

Shut Up
Seriously. This forum is far too predictable. The fight is over and the myriad of excuses begin. I've been a member here for a long time and it only gets worse and worse. Anybody else sick of this? Just give the man some due credit, do you want to see good fights or not? Stop with the technicalities. Last nights fight was a good fight and a great performance from two men who should be applauded. Stop over analyzing shit and just watch the damn fight.

If Taylor drops out...
...I wouldn't mind seeing Sakio Bika replace him. Your thoughts?

Random small predictions
Make your picks for the intangebles. Taylor will look good early. Froch-Dirrell will be a very dirty fight. Both Froch and Dirrell will be hurt badly at least once. Between the four men there will be at least one knockdown. I expect a point deduction that will effect the scoring of Froch Dirrell.

122-126 has the most exciting potential fights IMO
Izzy, Rafa, Pelenchin, Juanma, Gamboa, John, Mtagwa, Juarez, Rojas, Molitor, Ponce de Leon ETC. Excellent matchups a plenty. I'd love Mtagwa vs Rafa or Izzy, a good test of how much they have left.

Bika looks very good here
Yes, he is not fighting a very good opponent, and yeah, its a short fight, but in that short time he looks MUCH slicker, and much more balanced and composed than he generally does. Look at those sneaky counter right hands! Bika KO1 Casanova

Who of the top heavies could take a flush TUA HOOK
HMMMM? Could Wlad take a flush Tua hook? This is not a "Could Tua manage to hit them?" thread, this is a "if Tua hit them as flush as possible" thread. I think Vitali and Arreola could. The rest fall.
