I've been pondering the prospect of the level of success Mike Tyson would be able to attain in today's HeavyWeight Division if he so chose to return... How do you guys feel Tyson would fair against the likes of Ibragimov, Chagaev, Maskaev, Valuev , and Any of the other "Ev's" out their... And if Tyson was well determined to actually fight?????
If Tyson chose to comeback, he would get his ass kicked by half of today's heavies, and he would scare the living daylights out of the other half. That said, in his prime he would've mopped the floor with all of 'em. Moreover, he would have destroyed Lennox Lewis had they fought in his (Tyson's) prime. See what he did to Trevor Berbick as an example of what he would have done to Lewis.
I will now brace myself for the hits...:?!:
I dont want some old Tyson coming back. Fuck, is that all the hope there is???
People still fantasize about Tyson coming back and KOing everyone.
Lets just dig up Joe Louis and Dempsy.
People fantasize about Tyson coming back and KOing everyone because the guy was so good at one point that Its almost unbelievable. You talk about a fighter that could do It all Mike Tyson was a perfect fighting machine.

for some reason, i still wanna see him fight and belive he can still do it
I think most of us are all In the same boat as far as wanting to see him fight. now as far as Tyson still being able to do It well thats a whole other story. When Kevin Mcbride beats you your career Is over. The reason we all want to continue to see Tyson fight Is because for a very short period of time(1987-1989)he was the best heavyweight fighter ever.I realize thats a very bold statement but I truly believe that the Tyson that fought from 87 to 89 would have had a very good shot at beating any other heavyweight from any era.
If he has the mindset he had against Razer Ruddock back in 91', the sky's the limit.
But he's 41, 20 years past his prime and is no longer interrested in fighting.
Thanks for all the great fights "Iron" Mike.
You don't even have to have a belt, you probably don't even have to be a heavyweight to beat Mike Tyson nowadays.....he doesn't wanna do it no more folks and thats it...career he had was fucking great though, I got all of it on DVD BEOTCH!
