He'd have a more than legitimate shot at any of the fighters at 154. I think he should fight Sergei Dzinziruk. And we know he'd beat Spinks (that fight seems like a reasonable match-up, now).
He's not staying there. They said it's a one time shot. Fighters do this all the time when they are staying busy. I dont see why its a big deal. They arent going to put him in with a guy who's a lot bigger than him. The fight being at 154 is nothing to make a fuss about.
I think Zab has almost no chance against Vernon. Too big for him in my opinion. He might even lose speed going to 154. I'm wondering why he doesn't go back to 140 where he belongs. He'll be in there with guys who aren't so much naturally bigger. I sometimes wonder if it's because of his lack of discipline he's moving up. As far as making the weight. I've heard he loves the night life and such. (cant blame him on that though.)
He wants to get knocked out in every division he goes to.'
I hear he is trying to get B-Hop at MW next after 154.........
Are you serious or just making that up?
I can see Judah beating a lot of the LMW champs right now, he's got a better chance of redeeming himself than Margarito if you ask me. Even though Zab got humiliated in some of his last fights, he hasn't been beaten by anyone who he wouldn't be able to beat. He lost focus against Tszyu but IMO could've handled him, he almost beat Mayweather if he just fought two more rounds like he did the first five, he fought a close fight with Baldomir, redeemed himself against Spinks and caught Cotto early in the fight. I'd probably give Cotto a better chance on second thought, but he did fight a great fight.
The best thing for Judah is either fight Margarito who is looking to get back to the top just like him or dominate at 154 and look for the smoke to clear in the welterweight division (seeing as there's a lot of important fights scheduled right now)
He could beat Spinks at 154, he could have a good fight with Forrest, a rematch with Baldy, a long-talked about matchup with Oscar, and I would pick him over Simms and Alcine. Lots of options there. If it works for him physically, is another matter.
well it time for Zab to grow up and move on.
He is doing the right move he could beat the top oppenet but he is really not consistance with his performance during the round he got 1/2 min perfectly well excuted and then the rest he losses gas
