okay guys, thanks for the feedback. another question, would it matter what weight they fought at for either one of them to defeat the other. let's say at a smaller weight, would naseem have a better shot or would floyd have a better shot, or would that even make a difference? how about at higher weights?
I thougth about this a good two years ago and everytime i see it go down ( in a prime v.s. prime fight) i see mayweather and naseem fighting wildly after a a few show boating, with mayweather getting rocked and knocked out....if mayweather sticks to his gameplan he wins....if he tries to trade, he gets knock the fuck out
Mayweather doesnt play in the ring unless he knows he has you, hes not pernell whitaker. Its almost impossible to take mayweather out of his game.
u dont need stamina or a chin to succeed in amateur boxing?
boy your just diggin a hole there!
i agree however, even tho naz beat sanchez as a pro it means little (that mayweather lost to him as an amateur).
i thought u were on about brodie so it made me chickle
you wear headgear and box 4 rounds...
Good lord!!!
How could anyone see Hamed winning????
Barrera beat him with a boxing performance. I think it would be just as thorough of a boxing lesson with Mayweather but the difference would be Mayweather would stop him somewhere between rds 4-6. He would be hitting Hamed too easy after those lunges. I mean he would really be tagging him. Hamed was so off balance and someone with Mayweathers freakish speed(especially at 130) would just totally have his way with him. Remember what he did to Hernandez and Manfredy??? I can't believe that someone could envision Hamed winning this one.

I'm not talking about that specific fight. He mentioned something about beating someone who beat Mayweather in the amateurs. The amateurs isn't exactly anything similar to professional boxing. You don't need stamina or a chin to succeed as an amateur lol.
Danny Romero (Naz thoroughly dominated him in July '90), Michael Brodie (Naz scored a 30-second KO on Brodie in his last amateur fight), and Vincenzo Belcastro, Freddy Cruz, Laureano Ramirez Padilla, Juan Polo Perez - all proved world-class fighters before Naz even fought for a world title.. Steve Robinson, Manuel Medina, Tom Johnson, Kevin Kelley, Wilfredo Vasquez (WBA champion), Wayne McCullough, Paul Ingle, Cesar Soto, Vuyani Bungu (his last 14 fights were world title wins), Augie Sanchez (beat Floyd Mayweather in the amateurs)..
Yes, bartenders and traffic cops.
You continue to act like the amateurs = boxing. They are so different they should be considered different sports.
naz started his career as a flyweight. as he moved up, he carried his punch with him, but i think maybe 130 would be a little too much for him.
mayweather is a super fighter.. extremely cute boxer and a perfect technician. however this is only when hes fighting at his own pace.
im sure if naz came and roughed him up a little with some more showboating and a grander entrance and a few unorthodox moves then he would be in with a shout.
its a tough call tho
I agree with you that naz didn't fight anyone with the ability of PBF, but in saying that has PBF fought anyone like a prime naz. It's not as cut and dry as people like to make out. People forget how fast Naz was in his prime. On a side note I would like him to make a come back, and watch him get a hiding.
I'm not a fan of Naz in fact I hated him. I watched every time he fought hoping someone would put him in his place cos I hated him that much, but if he trained correctly then I doubt anyone would have beated him at or around his weight division. If naz caught you with either hand it was lights out. Now for all those people who say he was a fake, stop talking shit! too many people on these forums belittle great fighters just cos they don't like them. yes he was schooled by mab (who is a future hall of fame member) but it is widly know that naz didn't train correctly ( big head, lazy) for that fight. Naz really could of been one of the greats, but with £30 million in the bank it all went to his very overblown head.
that time mayweather was still not good against southpaw intell he fough Corely.
his father told his promoter dont put my son against a southpaw that i heard in the fight against Corely.
but for me Mayweather has the mental edge against any of his oppenet not only nassem
What Zab Judah did to Mayweather...
...But this time it will be more than just his glove touching down and he wont be getting back up.
WTF??!!!!!
Buthuggin is a huge understatement :ugh:
judahs power is nothing like hamads, floyd has never faced a puncher like hamed.. i think it would be a sloppy fight
omg
judah kocked out fighters at 140-147, even if p4p hamed hits harder... hamed never fought above 126!
