Prime Hopkins beats up every middle today like a red-headed step child. He was a beast in his prime...no denying that. I don't think he lost more than 2 rounds in a fight when he was at his peak.

B-Hop is going to go out as one of the best figheters of all time. you have to look at it this way. they moved up to fight him. he didnt ask them too. what if tito would have lost to joppe what would you have said about him than. what if the judges gave sturm the fight over dlh what would you have said about him than. both of those beat up on blown up welterweights. but they won those fights and went to the king of the middleweight division and got their ass's kicked. may i mind you that tito was favored over B-hop everyone said that he was going to KO hop. but EX out boxed him. i think it was roy jones that said after he KOed virgil hill. you brawl a boxer and you box a brawler. tito was known for his KO power B-hop did the right thing and wore him down. like the great BOXER he is.

That was a sad day for me, but I respect Hopkin's skills. You can see in the clip how he kept his right hand up and when Trinidad threw the hook he blocked it. He really studied Trinidad and gave him a boixng lesson.

damn i forgot all about that fight. Nice counter right hook, right on the button. Its a shame Hopkins doesnt have that edge any more.
