The Daily Bread Mailbag returns with another edition as Stephen 'Breadman' Edwards discussed the Premier Boxing Champions venture, Gennady Golovkin vs. Andre Ward, Keith Thurman vs. Luis Collazo, training camp methods, and more. Why do you think there are so many complaints about Haymon? I saw your last answer and it was awesome you pointed out how certain things were “acceptable” when other power figures in boxing were doing them. But when Haymon does them it’s a big deal. But tell me why you think there is a double standard. Do you think it’s a race thing.
Another edition of the Daily Bread Mailbag, as Stephen 'Breadman' Edwards answers questions on a variety of subjects, including Timothy Bradley in the Hall of Fame, Paulie Malignaggi taking on Danny Garcia and whether it's a cherry pick by Garcia, Floyd Mayweather not facing Amir Khan, and more. Whats going on bread? Quick question do you think Tim Bradley is a hall of famer? His resume is top notch, flooded with generational type talent. In the past 7 yrs the only 2 easy fights he has had is edner cherry and joel casamayor. Also whats next for him? Probably marquez rematch but I do think Bradley deserves another big money fight. Also at this stage is broner another Judah type?
Another edition of the Daily Bread Mailbag, with Stephen "Breadman" Edwards answering a variety of questions - including Adrien Broner vs. Shawn Porter, Floyd Mayweather blasted his dad, Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook, and more.
How's it going Breadman, I love it that you have Julio Cesar Chavez and Salvador Sanchez on the list. They were both machines and great technicians in the prime. So I have a question regarding these two fighters. If Sanchez had never past away, who do you think would have won in a fight between the two. I know Sanchez was a featherweight fighter at the time of his death and If I'm correct Chavez won his first title in the junior lightweight division. So if Sanchez didn’t past away he would have easily been in the same division as Chavez was when he was coming up. So I’d love to read your analysis on who you think would win and why. Thanks Breadman keep up the great work, love your reads.
The Daily Bread mailbag is back, with Stephen 'Breadman' Edwards discussing Miguel Cotto vs. Saul Alvarez, Shawn Porter vs. Adrien Broner and more. What's good Bread? I think you are the best in the biz at fight break downs. I hope you continue to post your mailbags, as I love reading how you break down fights. Couple questions:
The Daily Bread Mailbag is back with another edition, as Stephen 'Breadman' Edwards discussed WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto, WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, WBC/WBA/WBO welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and more. One of the stupidest comments I've read in a while. Loses badly to Pacquiao (ran the second half of the fight), Mayweather, and Trout. Loses to Margarito. And another significant win makes him an all time great? He beat an overrated, washed up Martinez, one eyed Margarito, and over the hill Mosley. Wow. Gift decision against legendary Clottey though
The Daily Bread Mailbag is back, as Stephen "Breadman" Edwards tackles questions on Alexander Povetkin, Adrien Broner vs. Shawn Porter, David Lemieux vs. Hassan N'Dam, Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Amir Khan and more.
The Daily Bread mailbag is back, with Stephen "Breadman" Edwards answered questions on the best fighters from 1980 to the present, thoughts on Amir Khan vs. Chris Algieri, thoughts on heavyweight prospect Anthony Joshua, and more. What’s up Bread I was born in 1980. Who would you say are the best fighters since 1980 or the last 35 years. Let’s say 10 best…. Bread’s Response: Geez you got me doing a list early in the am. Off the top of my head without comprehensive research….
The Daily Bread mailbag returns with another edition, as Stephen "Breadman" Edwards discussed Timothy Bradley vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr., thoughts on Andre Ward facing Gennady Golovkin, Freddie Roach's comments regarding the Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight and more. Hey what's the good word Bread? Got a question? Do you think Timothy Bradley is one of the more deserving fighters to take on Floyd Mayweather Jr? I know the talk is either Amir Khan or Keith Thurman but I look at his resume and see a guy who has one of the better resumes of current active fighters. I know it was a set back vs Chaves (I thought Desert Storm won), and his won vs Pacman was questionable (I can see how they scored again Pac but thought he lost after the final bell) but even then he seems to have warranted a shot. I think in this instance its a matter of money since it seems he doesn't bring a lot and the fact that he is with Top Rank, but he has done as much as anyone at 147 and isn't in that many boring fights, if we over look Alexander. What do you think?
