Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer of retired pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr., is expecting WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs) to demolish British star Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs).

The highly anticipated fight takes place on May 7th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Back in 2013, Mayweather Jr. dominated Canelo over twelve rounds at a catch-weight of 152-pounds. Khan, who has never fought above the welterweight limit of 147, will face Canelo at a catch-weight of 155-pounds.

Khan had tried for the last few years to get a fight with Mayweather Jr., but he was never able to secure that opportunity. Mayweather Jr. retired last September after winning a twelve round decision over Andre Berto. Last month, Khan unexpectedly announced that he was moving up to fight Canelo.

Mayweather Sr. is not giving Khan a chance in hell to win the fight. He expects the bigger and stronger Canelo to blow past Khan with few troubles.

"Overall I think Canelo is going to beat the hell out of him anyways. Me and Amir are the ones that had words, him and his daddy, he said, 'Oh Floyd won’t fight me, Floyd won’t fight me.' Fight you for what? He beat people that have knocked your ass cold, what are you talking about? Get out of here, this man has been stretched so many times it’s pathetic," Mayweather Sr. told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

"We already know what that fight would be like, that fight won’t be but a one sided fight, he won’t get no points. I think Canelo is going to do some bad damage to him, Canelo is going to put something on him, especially if he hits him once, he can forget it. If Amir gets hit with one good shot, he can call it a fight, good night."
