A statement issued earlier today from Queensbury Promotions said they will no longer be working with British heavyweight Dereck Chisora.

Chisora, 31, last boxed under their banner on September 26 when labouring to a lacklustre 10-round points decision over Marcelo Luiz Nascimento.

The former world title challenger (22-5, 14 KOs) has had some infamous and memorable nights fighting for Frank Warren but hasn't looked the fighter he once was, particularly when being outclassed by Tyson Fury in their November 2014 rematch which saw Fury outclass his compatriot and forced Chisora's corner to pull him out of the contest at the end of the 10th round.

A former British, Commonwealth and European heavyweight champion, Chisora also challenged Vitali Klitschko for his WBC heavyweight title in 2012. The Brit, who slapped the champion pre-fight was also involved in a bust-up with David Haye in Germany afterwards before the pair fought one another in London five months later, ending in a another high profile loss for Chisora.

Warren declined to comment on the matter when asked to by Boxing Scene.
