Las Vegas, Nevada - Ryan Burton catches up with former three division world champion Felix 'Tito' Trinidad of Puerto Rico. Trinidad is being inducted into the Nevada State Boxing Hall of Fame, to get his thoughts on what he would do against Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.
"Due to my conditioning and my fists, I would finish Canelo some time in the fight," Trinidad said.
There are on going negotiations for Canelo to face Trinidad's countryman, WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto, on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Trinidad had his own Puerto Rico vs. Mexico super-fight, when he faces Canelo's promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, in 1999 - and the fight ironically also took place at the Mandalay Bay. Trinidad won a close and some felt controversial decision to unify the welterweight titles.
