Brooklyn, New York - Undefeated light heavyweight prospect Marcus Browne (17-0,13 KO's) continued his progression with a very solid knockout victory over Francisco Sierra this past weekend on the undercard of Danny Jacobs-Peter Quillin at the Barclays Center. Browne was a 2012 Olympian but for this fight he brought in a familiar face into camp.

“I made a few changes in my camp,” Browne told BoxingScene.com. “I brought back Andre Rozier who was with me since the amateurs as an assistant coach. He has a more aggressive style. It worked tonight, the progression in my fights as I move forward you see everything coming together.”

With every fight, Browne looks like he can contend for a title and he believes he is on the right track - even calling out one of the top light heavyweights in the world.

“Anybody can get it,” Brown said. “I don’t care for any names except the guys that have those nice jewels around their waist, especially the WBC belt. I’m talking about Adonis Stevenson. I’m on your ass”

When asked how feasible such a fight would be, Browne was realistic in having to build a name for himself before being in the right with Stevenson.

“A couple more (fights),” Browne said in regards to building up his name. “At the end of the day I still got to make a name for myself. I have to keep beating the people the put in front of me. But Adonis Stevenson, I’m on your ass.”

When mentioned about a fight with another title holder in his division, Juergen Braehmer, Browne laughed and stated, “Man, I’ll beat his ass.”

Though Browne puts his trust in his advisor Al Haymon, He knows he has to make noise in calling out the big names to get them

“At the end of the day Al Haymon I love you to death, Al Haymon is doing right by me but I want the guys at the top, so I’m a call them out.”
