I remember watching Davies against Foley where he badly injured his ankle during a knockdown. This was a much better performance, and one that he could retire on if he so chooses.

Similar to Canelo @168, I think Inoue will be the reason why 126 finally gets Undisputed. Inoue is becoming a cash-cow for the lower weights....

I get Shakur wanting to leave because he doesn't feel like the top priority, but that won't change if he leaves. It's like Chantelle Cameron leaving Matchroom because Katie Taylor was the bigger priority. Shakur will be playing second fiddle to Davis if he goes to PBC.

I sort of agree, but we also shouldn't give a fighter credit for something he has yet to accomplish. I'd really like to see Inoue vs. Lopez and Figueroa....

I don't think it's Canelo related. More like fans who don't really pay attention to the lower weights, and are waiting for Inoue to face someone they recognize. Fans don't seem to realize that Inoue is already 31 years old. He's not a young gun who's moving up due to weight difficulty.

The fact that he's even being placed in the same conversation with Pac/Mayweather shows that Inoue is already held in high esteem. Again, Inoue's legacy will be just fine. What I like about Inoue is that he's always lining up the next fight. The fans don't have to worry about inactivity with Inoue....
