Wonder if he's really fighting in DC or he's fighting in the metro-DC area? Hope Roach Jr's "homecoming" fight goes better than Jarrett Hurd's against J-Rock Williams. I went to that fight, bought some Swift gear and then had to watch him get beaten down for 12 rounds.

Who knows, maybe I go to this one if the schedule allows it.

I get it's a homecoming defense, but this is terrible and disappointing, doesn't do anything for the division and a bunch of interesting challengers are left waiting behind this Irish bum

Yeah, curious where they'll go. I saw Roach fight at the DC Armory when he was coming up on the undercard of Luis Ortiz/Tony Thompson

Wasnt expecting anyone to tough for his first defense but that is a horrendous choice of opponent. They could found someone a level above this guy...

The DMV has some decent fighters come through. I used to go to the the fight cards at Rosecroft Raceway and many years before saw Camacho Jr at the Lincoln Theatre.

I remember Tyson's last fight. That was a pathetic affair.

Well Mr PBR streetgang I didn't know you were a fellow DC soldier! Looks like I have a new best internet friend. I was also at the Jarrett Hurd fight at George Mason Univ. Although he lost it was still a terrific fight. The fight didn't take place at Capone center because it was to expensive. MGM arena at Natl harbor was to small forthat fight. DC metro has tons of other venues but it probably will be held in DC proper at DC ESA. That new arena at St Eves has been hosting a lot of boxing events the last few years. Dusty Harrison is normally the headliner. It seats 6k for boxing and regularly shows WNBA shows on ESPN so that will probably be the spot!

I had seen a few of Dusty's fights when he fought in the area. Same with Hurd and Mike "Yes Indeed" Reed. Also used to watch Jimmy Lange from The Contender when he fought at the Patriot Center.
